Betting Odds
Most of Saturday's NBA odds market opened this game with Chicago favored by 2.5 or three points over New York, with an OVER/UNDER of 196. In the early betting most shops dropped the Bulls to -1.5 and -1, and the total to 194.

The Situation
Chicago (15-9 SU, 9-15 ATS) just had a four-game winning streak snapped by a 147-144 quadruple-overtime loss to Detroit Friday night. That game was tied at 105-105 through regulation, before the Pistons finally pulled away late in the fourth extra period.

On the night the Bulls only shot 42 percent from the floor and only hit five-of-22 from 3-point land, although they did hit 39-of-44 from the FT line.

Wednesday night Chicago beat Memphis 98-85, covering at -4, and Monday the Bulls beat Philadelphia 115-96, covering at -13.

New York (13-14 SU, 16-11 ATS) has won three games in a row, after topping the Sixers Friday night 107-97. The Knicks led by 21 at halftime, pushed that to 30 in the third quarter, then cleared the bench from there, and held on for the cover as six-point favorites.

On the night New York shot 47 percent from the floor, and hit 21-of-28 from the line.

Wednesday the Knicks beat Minnesota 107-102, covering at -4, and last Saturday they won at Portland 112-110, taking that game outright as four-point dogs.

Recent History
This is the first meeting between these teams this season. Last season Chicago swept three games from New York by an average score of 106-86, going 2-1 ATS. The Bulls outshot the Knicks in those three games combined 49 percent to 40 percent.

Two of those games played OVER totals of 189 and 190.

Going back a ways Chicago has taken 13 of the last 16 meetings with New York

Totals Trends
Chicago is 15-8 on the UNDERS this season, as Bulls games have averaged 200 points

New York is 14-12 on the UNDERS, as Knicks games have averaged 197 points.

Final Analysis
The Bulls must be dead tired, after a bunch of them played a bunch of minutes Friday night. On the other side, while New York also just played Friday night, it got a chance to rest starters, with a big lead in the fourth quarter. We can't help but believe the Knicks are in better shape for this one, so we'll add New York to the list of NBA picks for Saturday. Also, weary legs lead to low shooting percentages, so we're thinking UNDER.
