Welcome back to seeking the best betting odds for NBA prop bets for today. Many of the matchups leave a little something to be desired but this basketball handicapper is ready to roll.

We are looking to find different ways of looking at going after NBA picks for additional profits to go on top of revenue generated from more traditional methods. Though prop betting is not easy, the research is pretty cut and dry having to consider fewer factors and just make best decisions from available facts.

Time to attack the NBA odds with these prop wagers.

Pelicans vs. Wizards - Washington Over/Under 110 Points (-110)
You look at New Orleans defense in their last three contests and they have given up 113.6 points a game and one can surmise this is simple call on Washington. Yet, there has been nothing magical about the Wizards offense, which has been held to 96.7 PPG the last four times they have taken the court. Maybe Washington has a big night and finds a rhythm scoring, however, you should know the Pelicans are 20-7 UNDER on the road (105.1 PPG allowed) and 10-2 UNDER in back to back away games (103.4 PPG allowed).

Prop Pick: Wizards Under 110 Points

Kings vs. Nuggets - First Team to Score 20 points
Denver lost at Sacramento just four days ago 116-110 and being back in the Mile High City bent on quick turnaround revenge, I can definitely expect the Nuggets to want to come out fast and attack the Kings. It also helps Sacramento has not played since that contest and this is only their second tilt in 13 days, which could make them sluggish to start the game. Too good a spot to pass up on team like Denver not interested in feeling out process.

Prop Pick: Nuggets Score 20 Points First (-130)

Nets vs. Trail Blazers - Brooklyn Over/Under 99.5 (-110)
Portland has climbed back into the playoff picture by virtue of winning 10 of 11 and done so in domineering fashion with a 9-2 ATS mark. Recently, the Trail Blazers have run into some quality offenses, but prior to that what has fueled this hot streak is defense and they held nine opponents to 96.6 PPG, which is quite a bit below season average of 102.1. Brooklyn commences their very extended nine-game road trip in Rip City and they are 29th in scoring at 96.5 PPG and like most clubs are even worse away from home at 95.6 PPG. The Nets are 14-4 UNDER in road games off a home loss, averaging 92.4 PPG.

Prop Pick: Brooklyn Under 99.5

Rockets vs. Jazz- First Half Over/Under 104.5 Points (-110)
Houston is 27th in scoring defense for a reason at 106.7 PPG, they care more about scoring than defending. Because the Rockets players seem more interested in stats than winning, they regularly engage opposing teams into higher scoring affairs, often early before outcomes are to be determined. Our research finds Houston is 19-8 OVER the first half total in road games this season. When looking for more specific information, the Rockets are 17-6 OVER away when the first two quarters number is 100.5 or higher and drilling down further, they are 8-1 OVER when the first half total is 100.5 to 105.5 points.

Prop Pick: Over Total of 104.5 for First Half
