The Sacramento Kings have gone over the century mark offensively in their last seven home games, as they prepare to take on the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night. Should NBA bettors expect a similar result tonight?

Let’s take a closer look at the NBA betting odds for this non-conference affair, with the opening tip scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET at Sleep Train Arena.

Road woes

Chicago has dropped four games in a row away from home, including a 90-81 decision to the Los Angeles Lakers as 4.5-point road underdogs Sunday, while going UNDER the total for a third consecutive contest.

The Bulls are still 17-14 straight up (SU) and 18-12-1 against the spread (ATS) when playing outside of the United Center, with the OVER going 16-15 in that situation.

Lottery balls

Sacramento has no chance of reaching the 2013 NBA playoffs, as the franchise has dropped seven of its last 10 games, including a 115-113 setback to the Milwaukee Bucks as one-point home favorites Sunday.

The Kings are 14-26 SU and 20-20 ATS in March the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 28-12 in those 40 opportunities.

Century mark

NBA handicappers will certainly notice that the Bulls have failed to score 100-plus points in eight consecutive games, but they’ve got a great opportunity to snap that streak in this contest, with the Kings allowing 105.2 points per game at home.

Sacramento has also been one of the highest-scoring teams in the league since after the All-Star break, which includes hitting or going over the century mark in seven straight home games.

Cousins will likely miss

Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins will likely be suspended for this contest after being ejected in the third quarter last time out for elbowing Bucks forward Mike Dunleavy.  He is averaging 17.0 points and 9.9 rebounds this season.

With Cousins missing in the paint area, Chicago’s front court tandem of Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah should have plenty of opportunities on the offensive glass, which should lead to some easy points.

With no line available in the betting market when shooting my SBR video on this affair, I recommended the viewers looked toward the OVER with their NBA picks in this spot, as the Kings will likely push the pace even more without Cousins on the floor.

The OVER is 19-6-2 in the Kings’ last 27 home games, while the Bulls have gone above the number in five of their last six games on two days rest.
