Both the Rockets and Warriors have won their home games in this series. With a pivotal Game 5 on tap for Wednesday night, where can we make some money on these NBA Odds?

In the first round the Warriors absolutely decimated the Clippers’ defense, but the Rockets have largely been able to hold down the Warriors’ talented offense in the first halves during this series.</div><div>Take for instance the first round. Golden State dropped an average of 132.1 points per 100 possessions in the first halves of their six games against LA. However, over their last four first halves against Houston, the Warriors’ offense is averaging just 108.1 points per 100 possessions in the first half.</div><div>Houston’s defense has long been underrated and I think it’s here once again. If they can hold down the Warriors’ attack early in the game, they have the ability to keep the Warriors’ offense in the low to mid 50s at halftime.</div><div> </div><div> </div><h2>The Sharp Pick</h2><div>With the winner of Game 5 going on to win the series most of the time, I see both team’s defenses engaged early. I think you’ll see Golden State try to be a little more physical with the Rockets now that they are back home and I also think the pace could be slowed down tremendously.</div><div>So far through four games in the second round, these two teams have a pace of just 98.75 in the first half and it was an average of 97 in Games 1 and 2 from Oakland.</div><div> </div><div>I see both teams grinding out the first half at least. The Warriors have been playing so many minutes that I could see them getting tired in the second half. However, at least for the first 24 minutes I expect their defense to be engaged.</div><h2 style="text-align:center"> </h2><h2 style="text-align:center">First Half Score Prediction: Rockets 54 – Warriors 56</h2></div>
