We’re coming off a winning weekend and with only three days of the regular season left, it’s winning time once again here on Monday evening. The odds are plentiful both in quality and quantity and I have chosen my two best to release in my NBA Picks of the Day!

  Charlotte Hornets vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks do not control their destiny to get to the 5th seed, but a win here would guarantee the at least the 6th and put them in a position to move up with some help over the final few days.
However, they will need to win tonight against the already eliminated Hornets and some big news this morning has the Bucks looking like a prime ATS target tonight.

With the Hornets eliminated and playing on the road, Kemba Walker is doubtful tonight, which makes for some excellent wagering on the Bucks. Without Walker, the Hornets are going to be a lost team and a hungry Bucks team trying to stay in the middle of the pack in the East is going to eat them alive.

Plus, with the Raptors and Wizards locked into their seeds, I think Milwaukee would want to face a team like Toronto or Washington. The Bucks match up well with both the Raptors and Wizards even though they went 2-6 during the regular season against them.

However, without Walker on the floor, the Bucks are going to roll by double figures here.

Houston Rockets vs L.A. Clippers

The Rockets have been locked into the third seed for a while now and they rested several of their veterans on Sunday. Now they are playing on no rest tonight and Lou Williams will be out.

The Clippers still have something to play for tonight, as a win and a Jazz loss to the Warriors would lock them into the fourth seed and home-court advantage in their first round matchup against the Jazz.

That being said, all Los Angeles has to do is win one game and with the need to get their chemistry back from playing without a starter virtually the entire season, I like the offense to be plentiful in this one.

The Clippers are 4-2 cashing the over in their last six home games and they are averaging over 116 points per game in their last five. A team like Houston that loves to get up and down is going to be susceptible to giving up a lot of points here, especially in a game that doesn’t matter to them as much as it does to the Clippers.
