Back today with another edition of NBA prop bets and looking to build on the recent 13-4 record which could have made you a tidy profit and if not, I have more cash in my pockets these days.
If this is your first time reading this, three elements go into using these for NBA picks. The proper bankroll to support doing something different, ability to do deep research and a real feel for the NBA on a day to day basis. Without these three components , you are wasting your time and money.
The fourth piece to the puzzle is just stop by here and look for posted pieces and if they make sense, you might have something fun to do.
Let's get after the NBA odds with these prop wagers.
Pistons vs. Hornets - First Quarter Line is (+/-) 1.5 (-115)
Both these Eastern Conference teams have largely been in good form of late, but Charlotte get the edge in one department. With this being a home game for the Hornets, they have been terrific home and away in winning 11 of 13. Detroit has excelled at home but been a little spotty on the road. This for me creates an edge for Charlotte who has typically hit the floor ready to play and jumped on opposing teams. Seeing the home teams have jumped off to huge leads right off the bat in past three contests, I see more of the same in this tussle.
NBA Pick: Hornets -1.5 for First Quarter
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle
Rockets vs. Celtics - First to Score 20 Points
Have you noticed how coach Brad Stevens has his players engaged right for the opening tap? No question winning has everyone in a far better mood, nonetheless, there is a cohesiveness about Boston's play you see in younger teams on the rise, which is a hunger to want keep improving. Facing a veteran Houston squad that is not together and cares far more about individual numbers than team success makes this an easy choice. The price is a little steep, but the Rockets best work the last few weeks has come late, not early.
NBA Pick: Celtics Score 20 Points First

Knicks vs. Clippers - First Half Line is (+/-) 6 (-110)
When taking game at face value, this has the look of a Clippers stream roll job. But wait a second their studly, did you know New York is 4-1-1 ATS when the receiving end off six or more points by halftime? Yea, I did not think so. Also, since the calendar turned to 2016, the Clips are just 1-4 ATS handing out six or more digits, more finishing game late with veteran cast, than putting them away early. Having been pummeled by Los Angeles 116-88 at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks are 10-2 ATS versus the half line in road games revenging a loss of 10 points or more this season.
NBA Pick: Knicks +5.5 for First Half
Best Line Offered: at Bovada
Trail Blazers vs. Warriors - Golden State Over/Under 62 Points First Half Points (-110)
Hard to say if it the pressure or just being bored, but Golden State has been off their game for about two weeks. The drubbing of Utah Wednesday might be a sign they are starting to feel more connected and facing a quality team who beat them by 32 exactly three weeks ago might provide the proper motivation to light a fire for the Warriors. The shooting accuracy we have come expect from Golden State is returning and they are 8-1 OVER the first half total after two straight games where they made 50% of their shots or better this season. The Warriors reaching 65 or more points should not be a surprise tonight.
NBA Pick: Warriors Over 62 Points for First Half
