The Clippers have been playing great since Blake Griffin returned, and Thursday they are at home against a Thunder team that played the night before. With the NBA Odds in favor of the Thunder on the road, could this be the night to take points with the Clippers?

Even though the Thunder played Wednesday night, they were in the same arena as Thursday's matchup and they blew out the Lakers, leaving their starters to play only a portion of the game.

This one should be a different story, though. The Clippers are nearly back to full strength, and that has led to them winning and covering four games in a row. In fact, the Clippers have been beasts at winning their bettors' money as of late, going 11-1-1 ATS in their last 13 games.

Enter the Thunder, who beat up on the Clippers in their first meeting this season. They scored 63 points in the first half of that one, and I could see a similar outcome in the first half Thursday.

OKC is averaging nearly 59 points per first half over their last five games, and they are giving up nearly 56 points per first half in those five. The Clippers have been giving up 54-56 points per first half all season, and with L.A. averaging more than 60 points scored per first half in their last five, the over of 108½ in the first half is money in the bank for this game.

The average first-half total combined score for these two teams is 112.7 over their last three games dating to last season, and I expect closer to the average tonight with the Thunder coming off no rest.

OKC is just 3-3 cashing the game over on no rest this season, but if you take away that crazy Bulls game from earlier in the season, the Thunder have given up 53 points per first half in their other five games off a back-to-back. One of those five games was against these same Clippers, so look for the first half to go over 108½ again.
