Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer doesn’t like Drake’s courtside antics in Toronto and now the series will move back to the Scotiabank Arena, with the Raptors looking to close out the series after Thursday’s 105-99 win in Game 5.
Drake has been easy to find throughout his team’s home games in the playoffs because his courtside seat near the Toronto bench has him on TV often and in the fourth quarter of Game 4 he just walked over to Raptors head coach Nick Nurse and gave him a quick shoulder rub:
When asked about Drake’s behavior in Toronto, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said that he’s not a fan of it:
“There’s certainly no place for fans – or whatever Drake is for the Raptors – on the court. There’s boundaries and lines for a reason.”
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said on Thursday’s episode of First Take that he doesn’t see anything wrong with Drake’s behavior in Game 4. Smith explained that Drake is an ambassador for the Raptors, not just a fan who paid for his seat and that he was just having fun with the head coach of his team.
The best way to silence Drake is to take care of business but the Bucks haven’t been able to beat the Raptors in Toronto in this series and they just lost home court advantage.
