The Miami Heat have only had a few non-conference meetings at home this season, but both of them went over the total, and now the Heat are welcoming in the Golden State Warriors to South Beach, in what could also be a high-scoring affair.

Warriors vs. Heat

This is a weird Sunday of NBA action. There are double-digit spreads everywhere, and two teams are double-digit road favorites. That makes betting spreads really hard today unless you are unleashing a teaser, but for the total of this game, the over looks like a fine value.

The Heat gave up 117 and 125 points respectfully in their last two non-conference home games, and that was with Hassan Whiteside patrolling the paint. Now without him down low to combat the drives from the Warriors, Golden State should have no issue putting up points tonight.

The Warriors are on a hot streak right now offensively as well. They are averaging nearly 124 points per game over their last five, and they are 4-1 cashing the over in that stretch. Golden State is also 8-4 cashing the over on the road, and they are 3-1 this season cashing the over on the road against the East.

The Heat may not be scoring the ball much right now, but they will have to pick things up if they want a chance to stay in this one. The fist time these two met this season, the under was an easy winner back in Golden State in November. However, without Whiteside, the Warriors will be able to get to the rim with ease, and that should be the difference in this one.

The Heat are 5-4 cashing the over at home this season, and I’m expecting a final score around 120-107 in this Sunday matchup.
