The Clippers took care of business Wednesday night against the banged-up Warriors, but will playing back-to-back affect how bettors should look at L.A.'s game tonight in Sacramento?

While the caliber of opponent is not the same tonight as it was Wednesday against Golden State, we could be in for a letdown defensively from the team coming in on no rest.

Since the Doc Rovers era began in Los Angeles in 2013, the Clippers are 46-36-2 cashing the over in the second game of a back-to-back. That’s the fourth-best cashing rate of all 30 teams during those five and a half years, and so far their most recent road games on no rest have brought similar results. This season the Clippers have cashed the over at just 2-3 when playing on the road on the second night of a back-to-back, but they have also been red-hot at cashing the over lately as well.

Los Angeles has cashed the over in nine of its last 10 games, and in five straight road games. Combine that with a strong offensive effort from the Kings, and with my NBA pick I think there is a recipe for a very high score tonight.
