After signing Kawhi Leonard to a four-year, $142 million max deal and trading for Paul George, the Clippers formed possibly the most talented duo in the league but their roster still can improve.

The Clippers just became the best team, not just in Los Angeles but in the entire NBA. They're bringing back most of their core, which won 48 games and pushed a Warriors team with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to six games in the first round of the playoffs and they added Leonard and George, who combined to average 54.6 points, 15.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 5.7 3-pointers and 4.0 steals last season.

While the Clippers have a much more rounded out roster than most teams, they still have needs to fill. Montrezl Harrell can be their starting power forward or center but frontcourt depth would help this team and Harrell was formidable off the bench, averaging 16.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.09 minutes over 77 games as a reserve.

Clippers Roster With Kawhi Leonard & Paul George

*Notates expected starter

C: Montrezl Harrell*, Ivica Zubac, Mfiondu Kabengele
PF: Maurice Harkless*
SF: Paul George*, Terance Mann
SG: Kawhi Leonard*, Landry Shamet, Jerome Robinson, Rodney McGruder
PG: Patrick Beverley*, Lou Williams

George can also start at power forward (like when the Thunder had Carmelo Anthony at the three) and Leonard can be their starting small forward, giving Landry Shamet a more prominent role at shooting guard but they could pursue JaMychal Green, who shined in 24 games (two starts) with them last season, averaging 8.7 points and 6.5 rebounds in 19.6 minutes.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">JaMychal Green goes for a career-high 29 PTS! Ellis averaged 17.8 points, 4.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals over 833 career games with the Warriors, Bucks, Mavericks and Pacers and he can provide another scoring spark off the bench and make this team even more dangerous.

Marcus Morris could also help the Clippers. Last season only Luka Doncic and Paul George averaged as many points, defensive rebounds and 3-point field goals per 36 minutes as him and he shot 45.0 percent from 3-point range in nine playoffs games with the Celtics.

Odds to Win the 2019-20 NBA Championship
(Courtesy of BetOnline)

Los Angeles Clippers +300

Los Angeles Lakers +400

Milwaukee Bucks +500

Philadelphia 76ers +800

Golden State Warriors +1400

Houston Rockets +1400

Denver Nuggets +1600

Toronto Raptors +1600

Utah Jazz +1600

Boston Celtics +2000

Brooklyn Nets +2000

Indiana Pacers +3300

Dallas Mavericks +4000

Portland Trail Blazers +4000

Oklahoma City Thunder +5000

Miami Heat +6600

New Orleans Pelicans +6600

San Antonio Spurs +6600

New York Knicks +10000

Orlando Magic +10000

Atlanta Hawks +12500

Charlotte Hornets +15000

Chicago Bulls +15000

Cleveland Cavaliers +15000

Detroit Pistons +15000

Memphis Grizzlies +15000

Minnesota Timberwolves +15000

Sacramento Kings +15000

Washington Wizards +15000

Phoenix Suns +25000

Los Angeles Clippers 2019-20 Regular Season Wins

Over 54.5 Wins +100

Under 54.5 Wins -130
