Friday’s NBA betting has the foes squaring off at Air Canada Centre, where the OVER is 2-1 in Toronto’s three home dates.

The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors have united for a 5-1 spread record in their last three games, with the NBA odds ‘total’ showing opposite trends.

Raptors, Lowry upset Grizzlies

Toronto ended a two-game road trip with Wednesday’s 103-87 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, pulling away as a six-point road dog. Raptors guard Kyle Lowry logged a team-high six assists en route to 21 points, with he and his mates outscoring Memphis in the fourth quarter, 25-16.

Toronto’s Rudy Gay lit up his former club, notching 23 points with a 4-for-6 night beyond the arc. The eighth-year forward added five of his side’s 12 steals, while coming away with six boards in 42 minutes of action.

The duel’s combined 190 points jumped OVER the ‘total’ of 185 ½ for our NBA picks, with the Raptors sinking 33-of-39 free throws. Toronto’s Tyler Hansbrough was held to four points off the bench, while called for a double technical foul with Grizzlies forward Mike Miller.

Bulls, Rose put away Cavs

Chicago has been idle since Monday’s 96-81 triumph as 8 ½-point home ‘chalk’ against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls prevailed despite being held to a 41 percent mark of field shooting, with six members of its roster reaching double figures.

Bulls mates Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich registered seven assists each, with Rose putting up 16 points in 34 minutes on the floor. Chicago’s Taj Gibson grabbed eight boards, leading his squad in outrebounding Cleveland, 41-38.

Bulls center Joakim Noah picked up three steals, while forward Luol Deng notched a perfect 6-for-6 outing at the foul line. UNDER backers got the money, with the matchup’s 177 points plunging beneath the ‘total’ of 188.

Back the OVER in Toronto

Friday’s contest has Rose listed as “questionable” for Chicago, nursing a hamstring injury suffered against the Cavs. The Bulls return home for the second end of a back-to-back in Saturday’s affair with the Indiana Pacers, while Toronto has one day off before hosting the Portland Trail Blazers.

I am adding the OVER in this matchup to Friday’s sports picks, looking for both sides to put up numbers.

Toronto has begun to find the rims, surging to break the scoreboard’s century mark in its last three games. Raptors mates Rudy Gay (19.7 PPG) and DeMar DeRozan (17.8 PPG) ranks as two of the Eastern Conference’s top 15 scorers, while their squad has allowed 46 percent field shooting at home.

Chicago has given up a sizable 103.7 PPG in its trio of road affairs, while topping the NBA in free throws with a mark of 84.2 percent. The Bulls have seen the OVER cash at 7-3 in their last 10 meetings with Toronto, including a 3-2 clip in the team’s last five visits to Air Canada Centre.

Bulls forward Carlos Boozer has knocked down field buckets at 60.3 percent, second to only Detroit’s Andre Drummond (66.7 percent) in the East - while putting up 18 PPG. Look for just enough octane from Boozer and Co. here away from home, giving the money to OVER backers.
