The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming in to Saturday losers of two straight games and now they are playing in Energy Solutions Arena looking to avoid a third straight loss. The NBA Odds have the Cavs as -3 ½ road favorites, with a total of 208 points.

The Cavaliers’ last two losses to the Kings and Warriors were disappointing, but after two straight days off to regroup, I think Cleveland comes out swinging in this one.

Cleveland had a losing streak of four games earlier in the year, but the start of the season was a stumble for this team, and after a couple of days off, I doubt they are going to lose this game.

The Cavs are just 3-5 ATS this season when they play on two to three days rest, but they are going up against a hampered Jazz team dealing with a loss of their best player, again.

Without Rudy Gobert protecting the rim, the Jazz aren’t going to have much of an answer for Kevin Love and LeBron James.

James could struggle some and I’d still feel confident in Cleveland. Love is a huge mismatch for Favors, and if Love is knocking down shots and using his quickness again Favors, the Cavs are going to be taking a lot of high percentage shots.

Even though the Jazz are an impressive 12-6 ATS when playing at home this season, they are 1-2 ATS in their last three home games, and overall they are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games.
