On the second night of a back to back after a win over the Utah Jazz on Saturday, the Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road against the Washington Wizards on Sunday. Dwyane Wade is already ruled out, and Washington is a small home favorite with some injury concerns of their own.

Cavaliers vs. Wizards

Otto Porter did not practice on Saturday, and if he is out of commission for Sunday’s matchup against the Cavs that could really derail the Wizards’ defensive plans against LeBron James.

The Wizards basically drafted Otto Porter Jr. because he projected to be a strong defender against a guy like James, and he has turned into a fine player on both ends of the court. However, if his hip injury prevents him from playing tonight, the Cavs are going to score a lot more points than if he played.

The Cavs and Wizards have been in high scoring games a lot against one another recently. Their first meeting of the season finished 130-122 in favor of the Cavs, and their last two regular-season meetings against one another of a season ago were really high scoring as well.

If Porter misses for the Wizards, that’s only going to help the Cavs on the second night of a back to back. However, Cleveland’s defense is already not that great, so I could see the Wizards really taking it to them at home and with the of having rested. Over is our NBA pick.
