The Bulls, losers of four of their last five, will try to bounce back with a win over the Magic tonight. How are the NBA odds for this one shaping up?

Odds Overview

As of now Chicago is holding steady on the NBA odds as a seven-point favorite at the sportsbooks. The Bulls are 9-13 SU and 7-15 ATS, while the Magic are 7-17 ATS and 12-12 ATS.

Some of you will want to take action on the total here, which can be found at 186. The UNDER is 4-0 in Orlando's past four road matchups and has also gone 4-1 in Chicago's past five at home.

Orlando Magic

After losing in Oklahoma City last night, the Magic have now dropped two in a row and are a miserable 1-8 SU (4-5 ATS) over their previous nine games.

It's been a tough month for Orlando so far, but a tough schedule hasn't helped matters. They've played seven of eight games in December on the road, including challenging battles in Houston, Memphis, New York and of course Oklahoma City.

The Magic put forth a really good effort last night in the three-point loss to the Thunder, but their rally in the fourth quarter fell just short. As a team they shot 45.1 percent from the field, while hitting 29.2 percent from three and 65.4 percent from the line.

All five Orlando starters hit double figures, led by Arron Afflalo who had 25 points on 9-of-20 shooting. Nikola Vucevic had his way inside, posting 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go along with 16 rebounds in the losing effort.

Magic fans would love to see a similar kind of performance out of their team tonight. And though they've won only two games on the road this season, Jacque Vaughn's guys have manged a respectable 8-5 ATS record away from home.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls really stunk up the joint two nights ago, losing at home by 22 points to a Raptors team that just lost one of their best scorers in Rudy Gay.

Chicago was ice cold from the field yet again, connecting on only 36.0 percent (31-of-86) of their shots. They were killed on the fast break and were also out-scored in the paint , as Jonas Valanciunas and Amir Johnson combined for 29 points, 19 rebounds and six blocks.

For the Bulls, Luol Deng returned and immediately went to work with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Joakim Noah added 10 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal, while Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy also scored in double figures.

The loss means Chicago has now gone 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS over their past five. During that span the Bulls are averaging a horrific 79.0 points per game.

We're used to seeing Chicago struggle to get going offensively, but it's reached a whole new level this season. Deng is back healthy and that's a huge help in that department, but he needs to get help from the rest of the starting lineup.

NBA Pick

The Bulls get the benefit of an extra day of rest and will be at home, but we're not entirely convinced they deserve to be favored by this kind of margin.

We just have to take the points in this situation. There's a chance Chicago will bounce back tonight, but Orlando has been playing hard and should be feeling good about their chances after giving the Thunder a scare last night.

For a team that just can't score the rock on a consistent basis, we believe this is too many points to be laying for the home team. So, we'll take the visitors and back the young Magic to cover for our free NBA picks.
