By the Numbers is a daily NBA column featuring Swinger’s top selections according to historical trends and game time matchups. Let’s review the top picks for Sunday's slate and cash in our NBA picks.

Mavericks (31-44 SU, 41-34 ATS) vs. Bucks (40-36 SU, 34-42 ATS)

* Milwaukee is 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a favorite.

* Milwaukee is 6-13 ATS in their last 19 home games vs. a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400.

* Milwaukee is 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up win.

* Milwaukee is 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5.

* Dallas is 23-8 ATS in their last 31 games following a straight up loss.

* Dallas is 9-0 ATS in their last nine Sunday games.

* Dallas is 4-0 ATS in their last four games following an ATS loss.

* Dallas is 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog of 5.0-10.5.

Mavericks' backup shooting guard Seth Curry (shoulder) will miss this tilt with the Bucks but aside from that, it should be all systems go in terms of including Dallas in your NBA picks. The Mavs are 8-1 straight up and a perfect 9-0 covering the NBA odds when playing on Sunday this season and if this game goes anything like the last meeting between these clubs (Dallas 86 Milwaukee75) then that ATS streak should remain intact.

Wizards (46-30 SU, 39-36-1 ATS) vs. Warriors (62-14 SU, 36-37-3 ATS)

* Golden State is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite.

* Golden State is 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.

* Golden State is 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a straight up win.

* Golden State is 5-0 ATS in their last five games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

* Washington is 0-6 ATS in their last six games following a straight up loss.

* Washington is 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss.

* Washington is 1-5 ATS in their last six games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

* Washington is 2-13-1 ATS in their last 16 games playing on one days' rest.

Golden State is turning it on down the stretch, winning their last 10 and covering the number in eight of those contests. Meanwhile, the Wizards have dropped their last two as they wrap up their five-game road trip. I will grant you the number seems a bit excessive, particularly when one considers that Washington is one of the premier Eastern Conference powers but that merely illustrates the gap between the East and the West this season. Lay the lumber with the high-flying Warriors.
