The 2017 NBA draft will be held on Thursday night where each franchise gets to pick its future. Let’s take a look at where we predict the top five will go as well as the college basketball odds on some interesting prop bets being dealt for this year’s draft.

The Fab Five

1. Philadelphia 76ers: Markelle Fultz, PG, Washington – The consensus No. 1 pick in the draft will be playing ball in the City of Brotherly Love thanks to a trade with the Boston Celtics.

2. Los Angeles Lakers: Lonzo Ball, PG, UCLA – Lakers president Magic Johnson is high on Lonzo Ball but where Lonzo goes, so too goes his father LaVar. #Baggage.

3. Boston Celtics: Jayson Tatum, SF, Duke – Rumors swirl that Dealin’ Danny Ainge is still open for trading but if the Green stays pat, expect them to select Duke small forward Jayson Tatum.

4. Phoenix Suns: Josh Jackson, SF, Kansas – It’s hard to see Jackson cracking the top three, particularly when the 20-year-old demanded the Celtics promise to pick him if he agreed to work out for them. The Celts refused and Jackson never made the trek to the East Coast. Jackson will fall into the welcoming arms of Phoenix unless Boston picks him only to trade him away to another suitor.

5. Sacramento Kings: De'Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky – The Kings need just about everything so De’Aaron Fox fits the bill. He has publically stated that he is the best point guard in the draft. We will all know whether or not he’s telling the truth in a few months from now.
