Phoenix Suns vs. Chicago Bulls 8:05PM ET
Long gone is former Bulls’ HC Thibodaux who coached the Bulls with a hard-nosed, defense-first mentality. Yet, the Bulls are still allowing just 98 PPG this season under 1st year HC Hoiberg. Defense has not been the major issue for Chicago of late. Chicago has plenty of offensive talent in guards such as Rose and Butler. Yet, Chicago continues to struggle on the offensive end, where they are averaging less than 99 PPG.  Of the winning teams in the NBA, only Memphis and Miami are averaging fewer than the Chicago Bulls on the offensive end. In fact, in the last 6 games in which the Bulls have gone 3-3 SU, they have failed to top the 100 point mark in all 6 contests, shooting just 40% from the field.  Knowing the offensive struggles of Chicago will surely have Bull backers hesitant to lay the TD price with Chicago. And, why would they? The Bulls are now 0-7 ATS as a home favorite of 4 or more points this season. Yet, this is still an 11-6 SU team with a record that is good for 3rd place in the East. Among those wins was a 103-97 victory against Phoenix in the Valley of the Sun earlier this season. That ran the series record for the Bulls to 11-3 SU vs. the Suns. There are times in the season where the NBA schedule maker does the handicapping for us.  Such is the case with the Phoenix Suns tonight.

Betting Trends
Under HC Hornacek, the Suns are a run and gun Western Conference bunch. They both score and allow 105 PPG. That’s good for just an 8-13 SU record. Tonight, however, the schedule maker has set them up for disaster. For this will be their 6th road game in 9 nights. They play unrested following a (95-93) loss at Memphis on Sunday. It was the Suns’ 4th consecutive loss on the road trip by a combined total of only 13 points to Brooklyn, Detroit, Washington and Memphis. In fact, 8/13 Phoenix losses have been by 6 or fewer points. Again tonight, they will be playing without starting Center, Tyson Chandler, as they have for much of this road trip. Alex Len, his replacement, has averaged 9 points and 8 boards in his absence.

Final Analysis
