The Bucks have been scuffling over their last two games, but they have a nice opportunity to get right tonight against the Suns. Right now the NBA Odds for the total are 220 points, and while that’s somewhat high, it also might not be high enough.

Even though the Bucks have not been able to score the ball much over their last two games, that should stop tonight against one of the faster and poorer defensive teams in the NBA tonight. The Suns have allowed an average of 115 points per game this season, and if the Bucks can’t get to 110-to-115 points tonight against the Suns, I’m worried about their overall pedigree.

The Suns’ defense is giving up 111.3 points per 100 possessions this year, and with a pace of 104 possessions per game, if they play at their pace, the Bucks better be able to score.

Phoenix’s opponents have a 52.4 effective field goal percentage this season, and with the Bucks owning a 53.1 effective field goal percentage, I’m willing to ignore their struggles from the last few games.

Plus, this is an Eric Bledsoe revenge game, which makes this an even better spot for the over. You know that he is going to want to go off against a team that he probably still holds plenty of animosity against, and his teammates will likely want to do the same thing.

The Suns have cashed the over in five of their last seven games, and on the road this season, the Bucks are 4-3 cashing the over. For my NBA pick, look for this one to be high scoring and played with plenty of pace tonight.
