Milwaukee Bucks (-4-) vs. Orlando Magic 7:00 ET
The Bucks are 23-22 SU according to NBA odds, including 13-12 SU on the road. That mark is good for 6th place in the watered down Eastern Conference.  Orlando is just 15-33 SU, including a mark of 5-15 SU on their home court. Though history is not in Milwaukee’s favor, the dichotomous current form of these teams certainly works in our favor.  These two teams met earlier this season on this court with Orlando prevailing by a score of 101-85.  There were similar results last year.  Orlando won twice 94-91 and 113-102. Those recent results mean that Orlando has now won 17 consecutive games against Milwaukee on this court.  Yet, the current form of each of these teams, tells a far different story.

Orlando has fallen off the grid.  Since December 30th, Orlando is 2-12 SU. In that timeframe, they have allowed 114 PPG. In fact, 10 consecutive foes have scored 100 or more points against Orlando. When playing on this court in this timeframe, Orlando is 1-6 SU ATS with 5 of those defeats by 7 or more points. That drops their YTD mark to 5-10 ATS as home dog.  They now enter this game with 6 consecutive losses, all by 7 or more points. There is no way, even with history on their side, that we want any part of them tonight.

Milwaukee represents the biggest turnaround story in the NBA.  Last year, the Bucks were an NBA worst (15-67SU).  They were 5-36 SU on the road.  With the change in leadership to HC Kidd, the Bucks have turned things around.  In so doing, they have also been one of the most profitable teams in the NBA.  Making the turnaround even more incredible is the fact that it was done in spite of an injury-plagued season.  Jabari Parker injured his ankle December 17th and is out for the season.  Starting center, Larry Sanders, has been suspended since January 6th. On January 18th, guard, Kendall Marshall, blew out his knee and is also out for the season. Tonight, one of their best big men, Ilyasova, (groin) is questionable for the game. Through it all, Milwaukee has persisted. Not only have they turned in a winning record on the road, but they are 19-6 ATS as traveler. The line has still not caught up to them, as indicated by the fact they enter tonight on an 18-6 ATS run.

Let’s back the Bucks with our NBA picks tonight as current form prevails over history!
