The Bucks made a huge move on Tuesday, sending Greg Monroe and a pair of first-round picks to the Suns in exchange for Eric Bledsoe. While Bledsoe almost definitely won’t play in this game tonight, it’s an emotional gain for the Bucks against a tired, old and potentially distraught Cavs team tonight.

Bucks vs. Cavaliers

So far this season both of these teams have struggled on defense for very different reasons. The Bucks are just not stopping guys down low and in the paint, while the Cavs are just old, tired and without their best defender in Tristan Thompson.

That makes this game very interesting. You have a Cavs team coming off some really bad losses to Atlanta, Indiana, and New York, while the Bucks have lost three in a row to Detroit, Charlotte, and Oklahoma City.

While I do think the Bucks could cover this number, there is a lot of unknown in it as well. However, the total presents some extra value tonight, because while we know the Cavs have been struggling on defense, the Bucks have been much worse than expected o that end of the floor so far.

Right now Milwaukee is allowing 110.5 points per 100 possessions this season, and that is playing at a pretty slow pace. If they speed things up against the faster paced Cavs, they will probably give up close to that 111 number even if they win.

To me, that makes the total of 219 a value on the over for my NBA pick. It’s already gone up a few points since it opened last night, and I am jumping on the train hoping for a bounce back winning ticket.

Cleveland has cashed the over in their last three games in a row, and the over has cashed in the last four meetings between these two teams.
