The New York Knicks had the wheels come off of their season when Kristaps Porzingis injured his ACL and was out for the season. New York had already begun spiraling out of control after starting the year 17-17, the Knicks went on a stretch of going 6-24 over their next 30 games and completely lost their traction within the Eastern Conference playoff race. Some bright spots for the Knicks this season have been the play of Trey Burke and Frank Ntilikina. Burke started out the season playing for the Westchester Knicks in the G-League but earned his way back up to the Association by recreating his game as a basic a Allen Iverson clone. In that time frame, Burke has scored a career high 45 points in a game and is redefining his career as a point guard.

The Bucks are figuring out a new style of play since moving on from Head Coach Jason Kidd and a part of that has been moving former rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon to the bench, which increases the Bucks scoring punch on their second unit. Schematically the best thing that the Bledsoe addition does for the Bucks is add another capable ball-handler that Milwaukee can use to take pressure off of the Greek Freak who had become a fixture of defensive schemes.

Allowing Giannis to play off the ball more will highlight his athleticism and ability to move well without the basketball, drawing in defenders and allowing more space on the floor for his teammates.

Milwaukee is coming off of a very disappointing loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday and are looking to bounce back with a big win against the Knicks that will keep them out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. Right now the Bucks are currently in seventh place and would match up with the depleted Boston Celtics team. The Bucks need this game very badly and the Knicks are coming off of an upset victory against the Heat last night.

Milwaukee is 21-17 ATS on the road this season and should be able to continue that trend against a weak Knicks team who is only 6-8 ATS on second nights of back-to-backs this season.

Milwaukee has way too many weapons to fall to the Knicks in pursuit of their playoff seeding. Look for the Bucks to cruise comfortably to victory.
