The Nets are still without Jeremy Lin on Friday night and that spells bad news as they head into Oklahoma City to play the Thunder. Right now the NBA Odds are at -9 in favor of the Thunder, but that could still be a bargain against the lowly Nets.

Nets vs. Thunder

Jeremy Lin is still not ready to return for the Nets and with little to nothing else on offense outside of Brook Lopez, the Nets are going to have a lot of trouble with the Thunder in this one.

Russell Westbrook looks like the early leader in the MVP race and even after him, the Thunder have three of the top players in this game. As only -9 NBA Odds favorites, that is a bargain at home against a Nets team that has been blown out several times already this season.

The Thunder were falling off a cliff after starting the season 6-1 SU, but they got a nice win against the Rockets two nights ago. After a few nights in their own beds, OKC should be ramped back up and ready to beat down Brooklyn.

Right now the Nets and Thunder are playing at very fast paces, but the Thunder have been very good on defense regardless. They are allowing only 102.5 points per 100 possessions and Steven Adams is a big reason why.

Adams is going to be crucial to the Thunder’s success in this game, considering that if he stops Lopez, the Thunder are going to win this game by 20 points.
