After a hard-fought overtime win on Tuesday, the Spurs look to close out the series in Houston. The Rockets are favored by 7 points on the NBA odds board and the total has been set at 214.

Game 5 Recap

The Spurs overcame Kawhi Leonard's injury to beat the Rockets 110-107 in overtime. Leonard sustained a left ankle injury with 5 minutes and 41 seconds left in the third quarter but he said he will be able to play in Game 6.

Patty Mills got the start at point guard and scored 20 points with four assists and LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points and 14 rebounds but shot just 7-for-21.

Kawhi Leonard finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds in 38 minutes and Danny Green and the rest of San Antonio's supporting cast stepped up as well.

Green scored seven of his 16 points in overtime, Jonathon Simmons had 12 points on 5-for-14 shooting in 32 minutes and Manu Ginobili added 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and a huge block when James Harden had a chance at a potential tying 3-point shot in the final seconds of overtime.

James Harden led the way for the Rockets with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists but he turned the ball over four times and scored just four points, making 1 of 6 shots in the final five minutes of regulation and overtime.

Harden finished the game with nine costly turnovers and the Rockets were just 16 of 48 from distance (33.3 percent).

Betting Trends

The 'Over' is 4-1 in this series, 24-20 when Houston is a home favorite and 9-2 in San Antonio's 11 playoff games. Nine of the last 16 games in this series have gone 'Over' the total.

Final Analysis

The Houston Rockets are 7-point home favorites on the NBA odds board and the total is at 214. As predicted, this has been a series with close, high-scoring games and that trend will continue in Game 6.

The Rockets usually shoot at will from the perimeter at home and Game 5 went 'Over' the total despite their poor display from the field and off nights from Eric Gordon (4-for-13 shooting, 11 points) and Lou Williams (3-for-10 shooting, six points).  I'm looking at 'Over' 214 as one of my NBA picks.
