After 2 consecutive losses, the Miami Heat (5-4) look to stop the bleeding at South Beach as they face Jason Kidd's Milwaukee Bucks (4-5) squad. The Heat don't have Lebron James to save them. Are they up for the task? See what we think as we provide our pick for this matchup.

Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm ET tonight at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

Oddsmakers aren't expecting a high scoring affair as the Heat are listed as a 5 point betting favorite and the total for this game is 190.

This is a game that the Heat should win and if Milwaukee could upset the Heat, it would give them a lot of confidence during the beginning of the season.

Major Disappointment
Instead of focusing on Brandon Knight (18.1 points, 6.7 assists), who is the leader on the Bucks, I want to pick on the #2 draft pick Jabari Parker because Parker has had a terrible start to the season. People have touted Parker as rookie of the year and instead, he's underperforming and having problems with Jason Kidd. This was totally unexpected.

Parker has shot a dismal 41.8% from the field in his rookie season and isn't even seeing 30 minutes per game. This guy was supposed to be "NBA ready". Parker is coming off of back to back 6 point performances in which he has shot just 5 of 12 from the field and done little else. It's too early to say, but right now, Parker appears to be an overrated prospect. In the meanwhile, it's up to Brandon Knight to shoulder the load for the Bucks and he's done a fantastic job.

Knight is coming off of a huge performance in a loss against Orlando in which he had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Look for Knight to be the main source of offense. The Heat are a team with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade as their weapons and the Heat also believe that they can still bring an NBA Title back to South Beach without LBJ.

The Old Chris Bosh
People forget that Chris Bosh was a top-notch star when he played for the Toronto Raptors and with Lebron James out out of the way, Bosh has had plenty of opportunity for Miami this season. Bosh has had a stellar season thus far.

For the season, Bosh is averaging 21.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. He's hit the glass harder and has basically been the go to guy on this team offensively. Bosh will be tested tonight as the Bucks rank 3rd in defense in the NBA and that can't be ignored. The Bucks don't score a lot of points outside of Brandon Knight, but they clog the paint with guys that can reject the basketball and dominate the boards. I look for Chris Bosh to play well. This is a big man with a relatively reliable outside shot even though he's not a physical basketball player.

X- Factor
I don't think that he's going to need a huge offensive output here, but Mario Chalmers is more than capable with putting up big games. Chalmers is coming off of a great game in a loss vs.Atlanta in which he led the Heat with 23 points and 11 assist on 7 of 11 shooting in 40 minutes of play, Chalmers always seems to have the big game when Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are less effective and that makes him the perfect complimentary player and a good mentor for Shabazz Napier. Chalmers will have a tough matchup tonight with Brandon Knight.

Look for the Heat to have a bit of a letdown as they're faced with adversity for the first time since Lebron left for Cleveland. When making your NBA picks keep in mind that this game should go down to the wire and 5 points on the NBA odds are too many to lay.
