The Suns may have the better overall record, but we anticipate the Bucks will stay competitive on their way to covering the NBA betting lines tonight.

Odds Overview
Most sportsbooks have the Suns favored by an even four points, but there are one or two sites that have a line of three-and-a-half available. For those itching to take Phoenix as favorites, you're going to want and shop around and get the best possible number - that goes for all handicappers, actually.

And though Milwaukee has been much improved defensively this season, NBA odds aren't buying a low-scoring game tonight. They've posted a total of 209, which is over 10 points higher than the other game on the board: Spurs/Pistons.

Milwaukee Bucks
Few could have seen this coming for the Bucks. They're haven't been world beaters or anything, but they're sitting with a positive 18-17 record on the season. Yes, they've already surpassed their win total (15) from last year, which is a great credit to the job Jason Kidd has done with this young Milwaukee squad.

Coming into tonight, the Bucks have won three of their last four, topped off by an easy win over the Knicks on Sunday. Five different players scored in double figures for Milwaukee, who got 16 points and 14 rebounds from none other than Zaza Pachulia. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a great game too, recording 16 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block, with the Bucks shooting 45.5 percent overall while holding the Knicks to 40.8 percent.

Though Antetokounmpo and Brandon Knight have been the team's most consistent players this season, it's been good to see Milwaukee show up and play hard each and every night, with various players stepping up on occasion like O.J. Mayo, Khris Middleton, Jared Dudley and Jerryd Bayless. They may not be the most talented bunch, but they're finding ways to grind out wins, and that's all you can ask for, especially without prized rookie Jabari Parker out there on the court.

Phoenix Suns
The Suns are a nice 8-2 over their last 10 games, which has improved their overall record to 20-16. Included in there are a few impressive wins, but most came against lackluster competition. Still, it's hard to deny it's been a good run for Eric Bledsoe and company.

Phoenix has been off since Sunday's 125-109 victory over Kyle Lowry and the Raptors. Bledsoe had 20 points, eight assists and three steals, but other than him and Goran Dragic, the rest of the Suns starters didn't make much of an impact. The bench got in on the action and contributed a lot, as Isaiah Thomas had 18 points, three assists and five steals, with Gerald Green, Marcus Morris and Archie Goodwin also hitting double figures.

But, the main man for Phoenix lately has been Bledsoe, who's averaging 16.7 PPG, 5.9 APG and 5.2 RPG on the year. He's coming off a spectacular month of December and hasn't let up through the first week of the new year either. Can he lead Phoenix to a road win tonight?

NBA Pick
Time and time again this season, the Bucks have impressed us with their grittiness and refusal to go down without a fight. It's clear this team hsa bought in to what Kidd is selling, and the results have been extremely positive as a result.

Meanwhile, these Suns still have a long way to go if they want any chance of making the playoffs in a completely stacked Western Conference. They've been playing a lot better recently, but we'll have to see if they can sustain it and make a run up the standings.

Tonight, however, we feel good about Milwaukee's chances of a cover. We think the Bucks have a good shot of winning straight up, so we'll gladly take the points and back the NBA betting underdogs in this situation as our NBA pick for this march.
