There are only six matchups on the board tonight, so let's make sure we get our two NBA picks right on the money.

2013-14 NBA Championship Betting Futures

Charlotte Bobcats vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Bobcats go for their third straight win tonight, but the Grizzlies have something else on their mind. The hosts are currently favored by 7.5 points at the top sportsbooks.

It's been great to see Charlotte become relevant again. They're now only four games under .500 and should be full of confidence after beating both Cleveland (101-92) and Indiana (109-87).

That being said, it's been a slightly different story for the Bobcats on the road. They've lost three straight away from home, albeit against three of the best teams in the NBA in Miami, Oklahoma City and San Antonio. Overall they're 12-19 SU and 17-12-2 ATS on the road.

How have the Grizzlies been doing? Quite well. They just pulled out an impressive 85-77 road win over Chicago last night and are now 8-3 SU over their past 11 games overall.

There's also been a reversal in fortunes for Memphis at home. After starting out with some terrible showings inside FedExForum, the Grizzlies have turned things around. They haven't lost at home since February 5th.

Though we have a slight lean towards the Bobcats on the spread, we believe the UNDER may be the best direction to go in with our NBA picks. Both teams don't exactly play at a lightning fast tempo – the Grizzlies are dead last in the league in PACE, with Charlotte not too far ahead at #21.

Plus, we all know these two teams are top-notch defensively. They're each ranked in the top five in points allowed (Memphis at #3 and Charlotte at #5), so we feel good in recommending the UNDER tonight.

NBA Pick: UNDER 185.5

Atlanta Hawks vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Two teams going in opposite directions meet up inside Staples Center tonight. The Hawks have been downright terrible recently, while the Clippers are setting all kinds of records and consistently winning games.

It's therefore not surprising to see Los Angeles favored by such a heavy margin in this matchup. The Clippers are favored on the NBA odds board by 13.5 to 14 points.

Chris Paul and company, as we're sure you remember, just smoked the Lakers by 48 points to win their sixth straight. The Clippers, though, haven't just been beating up on bad teams – during this run they've also topped Oklahoma City, Houston and Phoenix.

The Hawks, on the other hand, have been woefully bad. They'll take a five-game losing streak into tonight's game and they're a horrific 1-13 SU over their previous 14 contests. Ouch.

So, can you really blame us for siding with the Clippers? We're not too concerned about the high spread, as Doc Rivers' team is averaging more points (107.7) than any other team in the association. When they're clicking, they're unstoppable.

Yes, the return of Paul Millsap is obviously a lift for Atlanta, but it didn't make much of a difference in Golden State last night. This will be the Hawks' third game in four nights and we just don't think they have the firepower to keep up.

With Atlanta at just 11-20-1 ATS on the road this season, we see no reason not to fade them once again. The Clippers can score points seemingly at will and should tear apart a Hawks defense that's given up 112.8 points per game over their last five. Back Los Angeles.

NBA Pick: Clippers -13.5
