profile

The Nets made a statement by signing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan but in the end all that really matters is where Kawhi Leonard goes. If he stays with the Raptors the East goes through Toronto and if he goes to the Clippers or Lakers, they become instant NBA Championship favorites.

One player I’m keeping a close eye on is Marcus Morris. Last season only Luka Doncic and Paul George averaged as many points, defensive rebounds and 3-point field goals per 36 minutes as him and he shot 45.0 percent from beyond the arc in nine playoffs games. Morris can be a difference-maker for many teams. His best fits are the Celtics, Clippers, Lakers and Kings.
