We crashed and burned on Monday’s two-game playoff slate, but with a ton of games left this postseason, there is still plenty of money to make. Check out these valuable NBA Playoff Picks on Tax Day here in the U.S!

   Jazz vs. Clippers

The loss of Rudy Gobert for this game and maybe longer is crippling to the Jazz. If you were to have secretly asked the Clippers coaching staff if they would rather win Game 1, or lose it to ensure Gobert didn’t play the rest of the series, I think they would have chosen the latter.

Without Gobert in Game 2, the Jazz interior goes from impenetrable to exploitable. The starting frontcourt of likely Joe Johnson and Derrick Favors is going to be no match for the Clippers in this one.

However, with -9 odds and desperation, I still don’t trust the Clippers to cover this spread, even at home. If they do, I won’t be surprised. However, I also won’t be surprised if this game stays closer than the sportsbooks are suggesting.

That’s why I am on the Clippers’ team total from Bovada. At 103½, the Clippers’ half court offense is about to improve a lot and without Gobert during the regular season, the Jazz allowed over 110 points per 100 possessions. Assuming the Clippers get another 94 to 95 possessions in this game, they are going over 103 ½ at home.

        Two Team Teaser

After both the Raptors and Bucks made their runs throughout the first half of Game 1, the Bucks put their stamp on the second half as the Raptors fell apart in that game. These two teams play about as slow as any pairing in the playoffs this season and in Game 1 they played at a pace of 89 possessions per game.

This is incredibly slow and after a low-scoring Game 1, there is almost no doubt that we’ll see another slow-paced Game 2. However, the bigger question is whether the Raptors will shoot the ball better. If that happens all bets are off on the under and with the line movement hinting that the sharps may be on the over, I’m laying off the total in this one.

However, the spread is perfect for a teaser if you once again like the Bucks. The Raptors have a ton of talent and if they can come together they are going to blowout Milwaukee. However, as I mentioned in our winning NBA Pick on this series Game 1, the Bucks are uniquely built on defense and they are probably the worst matchup for Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan.

If those two-star guards’ shooting woes continue, not only are the Bucks going to keep this one close, they may even win the game again.

The next game is even better. The Bulls dominated the Celtics in the paint in Game 1 and Boston made Robin Lopez and Bobby Portis look like All Stars. Along with the Bulls’ big guards and owning the best player in the series in Jimmy Butler, I’m on the Bulls again.

Chicago is the perfect pairing with Milwaukee tonight in a 5-point teaser, so add them both to your picks tonight in hopes of a nice cashing ticket.
