It’s a stacked day and night of basketball and our handicappers are ready to help you gain some valuable NBA picks here on Sunday. Check out the best bets we have to offer!

  Nuggets vs. Heat

The Denver Nuggets have been free-falling from playoff contention over the last week and while the Heat are probably not going to make it either, this is an interesting game between two teams that should both still be in fighting mode late in the season.

However, with the Heat being at home and the Nuggets missing some guys tonight, it might be best to lay the -3 ½ with the Heat here from South Beach.

Both Jameer Nelson and Will Barton will not play tonight, while Mason Plumlee is also questionable. None of these guys are backbreaking injuries if they can’t play, but it does ruin a lot of the depth that Denver has enjoyed when they have a healthy team. Now some of their guys will be forced to play big minutes against a tough defensive team.

The Heat are allowing less than 100 points per game in their last five and in their last three home games they have been lock down on the defensive end. If they can bring that same kind of intensity tonight against a fading Nuggets team without some important role players, I like laying the points with Miami tonight.

   Bulls vs. Pelicans

The Pelicans have been slowly speeding up their pace of play over the last few weeks and now they are facing a Chicago team that might be doing the same thing since Dwyane Wade got hurt. Since the beginning of this past week, the Bulls have played at a pace of 97.4 possessions per game, which is pretty fast for this team this season.

Combine that with their game against a pace-up team like the Pelicans and the Bulls could very easily get the over tonight for their NBA bettors. At only 209 ½ the total has been steadily rising over the last few hours and I am grabbing it now before it goes any higher.

The Bulls are 4-1 cashing the over in their last five games and on the road their defense may suffer against a big and inside-oriented team like the Pelicans. There is no way the Bulls slow down both DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, so chances are one of those guys goes for about 30 points tonight.

With the Pelicans averaging 112 points per game over their last five and the Bulls averaging more than 107 per game during their last five, I like the over here on Sunday evening.
