Monday’s 10-game slate is peppered with value plays. Follow along with our NBA best bets.

The theme of this slate is bounce backs. The Utah Jazz lost a close one to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, the Indiana Pacers had a dreadful shooting night in Sunday’s loss, and Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter wasn’t himself Friday against the Boston Celtics. We’ll target all of them Monday night.

Here are our best bets for Monday’s NBA slate (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Monday’s NBA Top Picks

Moneyline: Jazz (-135) ★★★★

Utah lost a tight 113-112 matchup to the Suns on Saturday night, bringing its record to 2-7 over its last nine games and 0-4 over the last four.

The Jazz have been on the road for four of their last five but play host to the Chicago Bulls, a team playing its third straight road game. The Jazz are 6-2 in Salt Lake City, compared to just 6-8 on the road, while the Bulls are 3-6 on the road and 0-5 against Western Conference teams. We’re backing the Jazz to snap this four-game skid.

Spread: Magic +10.5 (-107) ★★★★★

This is quite a lofty spread, and we’re taking Orlando to cover it at Barclay’s Center.

The Magic are just 2-6-1 as the road underdog this season, but they’re 2-1 in their last three in that situation and 2-0 on the second game of a back-to-back set.

The Brooklyn Nets are 4-5 following a win and 2-3 on the second of a back-to-back. Brooklyn has been favored by at least eight points at home in three games and covered in just one of them. The Magic can keep this one close.

Total: Thunder-Pelicans Over 233 (-107) ★★★★

The New Orleans Pelicans rank fourth in the NBA in scoring (117.3), and the Oklahoma City Thunder rank sixth (116.6), so we’ll just need them to be average in this one to cash the Over.

The Thunder hit the Over more than any other team (14-6), and they’ve gone 9-1 over the last 10 games. The Pels are 11-8 overall and have hit the Over in each of their last two games. Pelicans star Brandon Ingram is expected to sit Monday, but New Orleans hit the Over in three of four games he missed earlier in the season.

Upset: Pacers (+155) ★★★★★

Don’t look now, but the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the hottest teams in the NBA after winning five of their last six games. We won’t get too excited, however, as three of those wins came against the 6-15 San Antonio Spurs and one came against the 5-17 Detroit Pistons.

L.A. needed 39 points from LeBron James to top San Antonio on Saturday with Anthony Davis out, and AD is questionable Monday. The Lakers have won only two games against teams with .500 records, and they won’t be able to defeat the 11-8 Pacers.

Indiana is 5-2 following a loss and 3-0 on the second game of a back-to-back set. Indiana lost to the L.A. Clippers on Sunday with an uncharacteristically poor 9-of-42 shooting from three, so we’d expect some positive regression against the Lakers.

Prop bet: Huerter Over 2.5 made 3-pointers (-115) ★★★★★

Huerter is one of the NBA’s best 3-point shooters, nailing 3.4 per game at a 47.3% clip. Coming off his worst 3-point shooting performance of the season against Boston on Friday (0-of-6), we can get some value in a bounce-back spot.

Huerter hasn’t gone two straight games without hitting at least three triples since October, and he’s knocked down at least three in 13 of 18 contests this season. The Suns allow the fourth-highest 3-point percentage to opponents (37.6), so Huerter is set up nicely to cash this prop.
