The Wizards have found their groove again and will be taking a five-game winning streak into tonight's road game against Chris Paul and the Clippers. What to do the top sportsbooks have to say about this matchup?

Odds Overview
Despite a nice winning streak, the Wizards find themselves in a hole when it comes to the NBA betting odds. At the moment, sportsbooks have the Clippers favored by 6.5 points on their home floor, where they've been so dominant this season.

If you're thinking a total play may have more value, the O/U is quoted at 199 as of now. The Clippers have been one of the best offensive teams in the NBA, ranking second in points scored pe game, but the Wizards have had most of their success on the defensive end of the court, ranking seventh in points allowed. Something has to give tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers have won two in a row heading into tonight's game, which has improved their overall record to 44-25 for the season. They're in the fifth seed in the Western Conference and will be eager to finish out the regular season strong in hopes of getting as high of a seed in the playoffs as possible. It's going to be a dogfight in the West, so home-court advantage is going to be crucial.

We last saw Los Angeles take the court Wednesday in a 116-105 road win over Sacramento. The Clippers shot 51.1 percent overall and 45.9 percent from beyond the arc, and had little trouble exploiting a Kings team that was missing DeMarcus Cousins. Chris Paul had 30 points and 11 assists, Blake Griffin posted a 19/10/5 line, and J.J. Redick hit 9-of-16 shots (with seven threes) en route to 27 points in the victory.

On the injury front, getting Griffin back has been huge, but the Clippers are still without both Matt Barnes and Jamal Crawford, two important pieces to the puzzle. Barnes appears close to a return, but Crawford's calf has been a bigger issue than anticipated and he's still without a timetable for return. Still, with CP3, Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, along with Redick on a serious heater, Los Angeles should be able to cope just fine.

Washington Wizards
February was a rough month for the Wizards, but that's over and done with. They've been performing much better recently and will be riding a five-game winning run ahead of this evening's tough test in Los Angeles.

During the winning streak, Washington has bested some tough competition, beating the likes of Memphis, Portland and Utah. They're at 40-28 overall on the year, good for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards are only a game back of third place, however, so they're going to be itching to make a move.

John Wall continues to set the tone offensively for Washington, and we can't wait to see him match up with Paul tonight. It's going to be a great battle at the point guard spot, and whoever does better will be putting their team in a great position to win. Who will it be?

NBA Pick
When it comes down to it, we simply think this spread is too large, and we'll therefore be backing the underdogs this evening.

The Wizards are putting it all together again and the results are speaking for themselves. We always knew they would find their stride again, and it couldn't have come at a better time with the playoffs on the horizon. Getting Bradley Beal back in the fold has been a big reason we've seen the team's fortunes turn around.

And, for tonight, we like Washington to make a game of it, and we wouldn't be surprised at all to see them pick up the straight up win, which makes an outright moneyline wager on the road team very appealing. Go check out the available prices at SBRodds.com and you'll see what we we mean. In thinking that the Wizards will get up for this game, we're feeling good about siding with them to cover against the spread with our NBA picks.
