NBA Pick: Bulls -8

Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks are coming off a 123-98 loss against the Spurs last night. Milwaukee had no answer for Kawhi Leonard, who scored 10 of his 24 points in the third quarter. Khris Middleton led the way for the Bucks with 19 points and Michael Carter-Williams added 16 points and six assists in the setback.

Offensively, the Bucks average 97.7 points per game on 45.9 percent shooting. They allow 103.6 points per game and their opponents shoot 45.7 percent from the floor. Khris Middleton scores a team-best 16.3 points per game, Greg Monroe averages 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds and Giannis Antetokounmpo adds 15.3 points and 6.7 rebounds.

Chicago Bulls
Jimmy Butler broke Michael Jordan's record for points in a half for the Bulls, scoring 40 of his 42 points after the break to lead Chicago to a 115-113 win over Toronto on Sunday.

Butler leads the Bulls with 21.8 points, Pau Gasol averages 16.4 points and 10.7 rebounds and Derrick Rose adds 14.4 points and 5.1 assists. Rose has missed the last three games with hamstring soreness and his status for this game is questionable.

The Bulls average 101.7 points per game on 43.3 percent shooting, including 36.6 percent from beyond the arc (5th in the NBA). Defensively, they give up 99.8 points per game and they lead the NBA, allowing their opponents to shoot just 41.7 percent from the floor.

Betting Trends
The Bucks are 7-1 ATS when playing on back-to-back days, 7-8 ATS after allowing 105 points or more and 8-11 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record.

The Bulls are 8-14 ATS as a favorite, 2-0 ATS in January games and 5-2 ATS after allowing 105 points or more.

Final Analysis
The Bulls are favored by 8 points on the NBA odds board. Derrick Rose will be a game-time decision but the Bulls are 4-1 without him this season, with the lone loss coming against the Warriors. The Bucks will be playing in the second game of a back-to-back after a tough physical game against the Spurs, so they will have a hard time keeping up the pace with the Bulls. I'm taking Chicago to cover -8 at home with one of my NBA picks.
