The Oklahoma City Thunder (45-22) travel to the TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics (39-27). The Thunder are favored by 3 points on the NBA odds board and the total is set at 221.

Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder snapped a two-game losing streak with a convincing 128-94 win against the Trail Blazers last Monday. Russell Westbrook finished with 17 points,16 assists and 10 rebounds for his 12th triple-double of the season, Enas Kanter had a season-high 26 points and Kevin Durant scored 20 points. Oklahoma City is currently third in the Western Conference playoffs race, two games ahead of the Clippers.

The Thunder score 109.8 points per game (second in the league) and shoot 47.6 percent from the floor (third in the NBA) and 34.9 percent from three-point range and they pull down 48.3 rebounds per game (first in the league). Oklahoma City allows 102.9 points per game and their opponents shoot 43.9 percent overall and 34.2 percent from beyond the arc and grab 40.2 rebounds per game.

Kevin Durant leads the team with 28.0 points and 8.2 rebounds, Russell Westbrook averages 24.0 points and a team-best 10.4 assists to go along with 7.6 rebounds and Serge Ibaka adds 12.7 points and 6.9 rebounds.

Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are struggling a bit, losing three of their last four games, including last night's hard-fought 103-98 setback at Indiana to fall to a third-place tie with the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings. Isaiah Thomas led the way against the Pacers with 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds but the Celtics couldn't recover from Indiana's 15-4 fourth quarter run.

The Celtics average 106.0 points per game (fifth in the league) on 43.9 percent shooting overall and 33.3 percent shooting from three-point range (27th in the NBA) and they pull down 45.0 rebounds per game (sixth in the league). Defensively, Boston allows 101.9 points per game (13th in the league) and their opponents shoot just 43.8 percent from the floor (sixth in the NBA) and 35.2 percent from beyond the arc and grab 46.2 rebounds per game.

Isaiah Thomas leads the Celtics with 21.9 points and 6.6 assists, Avery Bradley averages 15.1 points and 1.5 steals and Jae Crowder adds 14.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and a team-best 1.8 steals.

Betting Trends
The Thunder are 26-38-3 ATS, 9-20-2 ATS in away games, 24-33-2 as a favorite and 17-26-1 ATS after a SU win. The Celtics are 35-30 ATS, 9-9 ATS as an underdog, 18-13 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record and 9-8 ATS in the second half of the season.

Final Analysis
The Thunder are a 3-point favorite on the NBA odds board and the total has been set at 221. This will be the second meeting of the season between these two teams. The Celtics beat the Thunder 100-85 in Oklahoma City on November 15 behind 26 points from Marcus Smart.

Russell Westbrook had to carry the Oklahoma City offense in that game with 27 points because Kevin Durant didn't play as he was nursing a left hamstring strain. Having Durant against a tired Celtics team that is struggling and played a tough game at Indiana last night will make a huge difference. I'm taking the Thunder -3 with my NBA picks.
