The Sixers and Pacers are both coming off games on Friday night, and now they are facing one another on the second night of a back to back. With both teams tired and with the All-Star Break looming, these two teams might forgo defense tonight.

The 76ers are planning on playing Joel Embiid on the second night of a back to back on Saturday, and that could really hurt the Pacers’ defense. Without Embiid, the Sixers are beatable for Indiana, but with him in the lineup, it’s going to be a lot tougher game for the Pacers defensively.

Luckily they have Myles Turner back, which could end up helping them on both ends of the court. Turner’s defense against Embiid is definitely needed, but it’s also not going to be enough.

On the flip side, the Sixers’ defense on the second night of a back to back likely won’t slow down the fast-moving Pacers. When playing at home, the Pacers tend to push the pace more and play with much better offense. Indiana owns a 109.4 offensive rating when they play at home, which ranks eighth best in the league among teams when they play at home.

The Sixers are 6-4 cashing the over on the road or at neutral sites in their last 10 games away from Wells Fargo Center, and they are 14-12 cashing the over on the road overall this season. Philly is also 15-9 cashing the over after a SU win this season.

The Pacers are 4-1-1 cashing the over in their last six games overall, and while they have not been great at cashing above the total overall this season, with both teams tired you have to like this one to be high scoring.
