Memphis is expected to have Tyreke Evans and Marc Gasol back in the lineup tonight, helping the case for a higher-scoring game with Philadelphia.

Memphis has allowed an average of 111.6 points in their last five games, and the number is nearly the same in their past eight road games. You have to give it to them: The Grizzlies are consistent, even when they are actively trying to lose games.

However, it’s the consistency that we can take advantage of with our NBA picks tonight. Memphis has no intention of winning as they try for the top lottery odds, and against a team such as the 76ers, who are fighting for a higher spot in the Eastern Conference standings, the Grizzlies will give up some points.

The Grizzlies have cashed the "over" in five of their past eight road games, and they are 17-15 cashing the "over" on the road this season. Memphis is also 15-11-1 cashing the "over" in non-conference games, and in trips to Eastern teams’ venues this season they are 8-5 cashing the "over."

This is Philly’s first non-conference game since the All-Star break. With the 76ers averaging almost 113 points per game over their last five, I think they'll score at least that many tonight. That should account for enough scoring to cash the "over" on the NBA odds board, assuming the Grizzlies put up points with their two veterans probable.
