2019 Draft Picks That Remain Unsigned

Only one of the 30 players drafted in the first round hasn’t signed an NBA contract, as well as more than half of the players taken in the second round.

These are the players that have not signed a contract with their teams yet:

Chuma Okeke, F (Auburn), Orlando Magic No. 16 pick

Didi Louzada, G/F (Brazil), New Orleans Pelicans No. 35 pick

Cody Martin, F (Nevada), Charlotte Hornets No. 36 pick

Deividas Sirvydis, G/F (Lithuania), Detroit Pistons No. 37 pick

Jaylen Nowell, G (Washington), Minnesota Timberwolves, No. 43 pick

Bol Bol, C (Oregon), Denver Nuggets, No. 44 pick

Isaiah Roby, F (Nebraska), Dallas Mavericks, No. 45 pick

Jarrell Brantley, F (Charleston), Utah Jazz, No. 50 pick

Tremont Waters, G (LSU), Boston Celtics, No. 51 pick

Jalen McDaniels, F (San Diego State), Charlotte Hornets, No. 52 pick

Justin Wright-Foreman, G (Hofstra), Utah Jazz, No. 53 pick

Jaylen Hands, G (UCLA), Brooklyn Nets, No. 56 pick

Vanja Marinkovic, G (Serbia), Sacramento Kings No. 60 pick

Didi Louzada will reportedly spend next season in Australia, so he won’t be signing a contract with the Pelicans in this offseason. Vanja Marinkovic and Deividas Sirvydis will likely remain overseas and Tremont Waters reportedly agreed to terms on a two-way contract with the Celtics, though it hasn’t been announced by the team yet.

Chuma Okeke tore his ACL in March and is expected to miss practically all of his rookie season, so the Magic are taking their time to explore possible alternatives.

Cody Martin, Jaylen Nowell, Bol Bol and Isaiah Roby were all drafted by teams with fewer than 15 guaranteed contracts and a portion of their mid-level exceptions available, so they should sign multi-year contracts at some point.

Late second round players like Jalen McDaniels, Jarrell Brantley and Justin Wright-Foreman have cloudier outlooks, they make sense for potential two-way contracts but that’s all up in the air.
