Welcome to day three of the 2017 playoffs! With only two games to choose from on this shorter basketball slate, it’s time to get creative and make some extra cash on these two NBA Picks!

 Pacers vs. Cavaliers

Playoff Paul George ensured Pacers backers had a big Game 1 on Saturday and nowhere in Game 2, they are likely going to be back at it with Indiana getting eight points from the sportsbooks.

If George and the Pacers play like they did in Game 1, it’s easily going to give them extra value as +8 underdogs, but then again when you look at the movement from this game so far, the sharps look to be leaning towards the Cavaliers producing a bounce back.

However, what you’re seeing in the line movement for the total is more interesting and it’s where I am putting my money tonight. Even with the final score of 109-108, this game should have been much lower scoring. However, that fact that George and the Pacers shot nearly 46% from distance and the Cavs show nearly 54% from the floor led to a higher score.

If you look at the pace this game was played in, especially the second half, you’ll notice that if the shots aren’t falling in Game 2 and the pace stays the same or gets slower, the under has a ton of value.

In Game 1 these two teams played at a pace of 90.84, which is lower than the Jazz and Clippers from their Game 1 matchup. Grab the under before it gets any lower.

Grizzlies vs. Spurs

Marc Gasol played about as well as you could expect from Memphis’ star big. However, Zach Randolph looked 40 years old, they need more offense from mike Conley and overall the rest of the Grizzlies stunk.

They were without the Grindfather Tony Allen, which may be playing a role in all this. He is their veteran glue guy who is vocal on and off the court, but without him, the Grizzlies lose a lot of defense and toughness. He has already been ruled out of Monday’s game.

With that in mind, you have to expect a lot of motivation from Memphis to come out and play with a sense of urgency, early on like they did to start Game 1. The final three-quarters we won’t talk about, but after a day off to recoup and re-strategize, I like David Fizdale’s ability to counterpunch Gregg Popovich early in the game.

The Spurs aren’t going to do anything different. LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard are their offense and the bench battle has to improve.

However, I think Game 2 is going to start just like Game 1. Memphis was 4-for-6 from downtown early in the first quarter, but the biggest thing they did later in Game 1’s first quarter was giving the ball to Gasol and get buckets in the paint. For your NBA pick, look for more of that in Game 2.
