As we predicted in our WTA Wimbledon Day 1 analysis, Victoria Azarenka proved too strong for Catherine Bellis. Despite losing the opening set, the former world no.1 staged an outstanding comeback with a 3 – 6 6 – 2 6 – 1 victory over the 18-year-old American. Known as one of the best returners in the game, Azarenka won 50.55% of the points on Catherine’s serve. With a brilliant 125 – 39 career record on Grand Slam events, the two-time Australian Open champion is always a serious contender to win any major tournament.

After reaching the semifinals in 2016, Elena Vesnina is looking for another successful campaign at the All England Club. However, the 30-year-old Russian is not going through a good moment in her career after winning only 4 of her last 10 matches on the WTA Tour. Taking a look now at Elena’s campaign on this event, the world no.16 was far from impressive on her debut in Wimbledon with a 6 – 4 5 – 7 6 – 2 win over the Russian qualifier – Anna Blinkova.

These two players know each other very well with their first encounter taking place in 2007. In addition to Azarenka’s 7 – 0 lead on the h2h, the Belarussian never lost a single set against Vesnina.

Due to Victoria’s dominance over this opponent and exceptional performance in the opening round, it’s hard to ignore Azarenka’s current odds. With this in mind, our recommendation is for you to take advantage of Azarenka’s tennis betting odds by placing a bet on the former world no.1 to cover her spread.

Free Tennis Pick: Victoria Azarenka -3 (-119)

Camila Giorgi vs. Madison Keys (17)

As we mentioned in our WTA Wimbledon Betting Analysis & Free Tennis Picks, Madison Keys is an exceptional grass-court player. Besides her outstanding 28 – 10 career record on this surface, Keys is a former Wimbledon quarterfinalist. Despite some concerns about Madison’s physical condition before this event, the 22-year-old American started her campaign with a terrific 6 – 4 6 – 2 win against Nao Hibino. Adding to this, Keys ended the match with an impressive 1.43 winners / unforced errors ratio.

Playing on grass brings the best out of Camila Giorgi. Known as one of the most aggressive players on the WTA Tour, the fast court conditions on grass are perfect for Giorgi’s powerful game style. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old Italian is also famous for her inconsistency. Looking now at Camila’s campaign in Wimbledon, the world no.86 reaches this stage of the competition after a tough three-set battle against Alize Cornet.

These two players will face each other for the 4th time in their careers with Keys leading on the h2h by 2 – 1.

This should be a very interesting match between two of the most powerful players on the WTA Tour. Despite Giorgi’s unquestionable quality, Keys is definitely the better player on this match-up. For that reason, our recommendation is for you to add Madison’s spread to your betting picks since we expect a good win from the American on this match.

Free Tennis Pick: Madison Keys -3 (-114)
