Top Half of the Draw
Serena Williams returns to Wimbledon to defend her title and once again, she’s the main favorite to lift the trophy. It hasn’t been a great year for Serena yet, the American can never be underestimated, especially on grass where her powerful game is even more dangerous. Looking at Serena’s draw on this event, she shouldn’t experience any kind of troubles on her debut against Amra Sadikovic.

However, things won’t be so easy in the following rounds, where the six-time Wimbledon champion might face some good competitors like Christina McHale, Kristina Mladenovic and Sloane Stephens. In the quarterfinals, Roberta Vinci is the highest ranked player that Serena might face yet, the Italian is far from her best and is unlikely to see her reaching this stage of the competition. On the other hand, Coco Vandeweghe is a tremendous player on grass and after reaching the quarterfinals last year, she might do it again.

Looking to Serena’s potential opponents in the semifinals, Petra Kvitova and Agnieszka Radwanska are the two main favorites to reach that stage.

Kvitova is a two-time Wimbledon champion and even though her weak results in Birmingham and Eastbourne, she is known for raising her level in the All England Club. Petra has an incredibly tough draw ahead of her, where she might face Sorana Cirstea, Ekaterina Makarova, Barbora Strycova and Belinda Bencic until the quarterfinals. Due to Petra’s inconsistency, is hard to trust on the Czech to reach the latter stages of the competition because in a bad day, she should lose against any of these opponents.

Analyzing now Agnieszka’s draw, the 2012 Wimbledon runner-up seems to have a much easier draw to reach the quarterfinals. Radwanska loves to compete on grass with a phenomenal 36 – 10 career record on this event and this might be a good opportunity for the Polish to reach the semifinals for the fourth time on her career.

Looking at the odds to win the 2nd quarter, Agnieszka is currently at +500 on bet365, a very interesting price that we recommend you to add to your tennis picks. On the other hand, Serena to reach the final is currently priced at -152 on bet365, a price that doesn’t present any kind of value.

Bottom Half of the Draw
Garbine Muguruza enters this event with a different status after winning her first Grand Slam title a few weeks ago in Paris; however, things won’t be easy for the Spaniard who has 1300 points to defend for reaching the final last year. Things are never easy after winning the first major and Angelique Kerber is a good example of that, with the German clearly struggling to find her best tennis after winning the Australian Open earlier this year. After the triumph in Paris, Muguruza played one grass event in Mallorca, losing on the first round against Kirsten Flipkens.

Looking at Garbine’s draw on this event, she should face very dangerous players, starting with the powerful Camila Giorgi in the first round. This is the kind of tournament where betting against Muguruza might be a good idea and for that reason, we suggest you to avoid placing any bet on the Spaniard.

Madison Keys arrives in London after winning the title in Birmingham and this might be a great opportunity for Keys to reach her first Grand Slam final. Madison is on the 3rd quarter of the draw with Angelique Kerber as her main opponent. Keys has been playing at a higher level however, the German is far from an easy match-up for Madison with Kerber winning four of their previous five meetings. We believe that one of these two players should reach the semifinals and for that reason, we recommend you to split your stake between Keys' tennis odds at +300 and Kerber at +500 to win the 3rd quarter, both on bet365.
