Our two main favorites on White group will face each other on last match of round-robin. Find out who they are and what is our top tennis pick for this contest.

Garbine Muguruza (2) vs Petra Kvitova (4)
Petra Kvitova has been far from her best on this event, after a poor loss against Angelique Kerber the Czech defeated her fellow compatriot, Lucie Safarova, in two close sets.

Despite playing more consistent in her second match, the victory over Safarova was largely due to Lucie’s mental weakness. Safarova has a mental block against Petra and showed that once again by collapsing mentally in the end of both sets to lose 5 – 7 5 – 7.

Garbine Muguruza is very close from qualification; if the Spaniard wins a set on this contest, she automatically books a place in semifinals. However, even if she loses in straight sets she’ll only be out of this event if Kerber win her match in straight sets and then the two players qualified will be decided by the % of games won.

Muguruza is the only player on this event who hasn’t drop a set and her numbers on serve have been remarkable with 85.0% service hold, 68.6% and 63.6% points won on first and second serve, respectively.

Petra won’t go down without a fight and despite not being playing her best tennis, she has showed huge determination on her victory against Safarova. Muguruza loves to hit the ball very early, crushing her opponents with her tremendous firepower.

Kvitova’s left-handed slice serve and crossed forehand will be extremely important on this match. She’ll have to open the court very well with those shots, not allowing Muguruza to be comfortable on baseline rallies.

Both players will be looking to dominate the rallies and overplay their opponent with their powerful groundstrokes. It should be a very interesting contest between two of the most powerful hitters on tour.

Garbine knows she only needs a set and might not be as sharp mentally like in previous matches while Kvitova will try everything to book a place on next stage. Should be a very close contest and we’ll add to our tennis picks the value on Over tennis odds.
