Surprising final after two upsets in WTA Singapore semifinals. Join us while we analyze the decisive match and find out our top tennis pick for Sunday's final.

Agnieszka Radwanska (5) vs Petra Kvitova (4)
It wasn’t a good start of week for Agnieszka Radwanska, losing the first two matches on round-robin stage. Despite the slow start, Agnieszka showed huge determination with a victory over Simona Halep and after Maria Sharapova defeated Flavia Pennetta the Polish was qualified for semifinals.

Radwanska had a very tough match in semifinals against Garbine Muguruza but managed to comeback from a set down in order to book a place in the final. Agnieszka ended that match with very good numbers, 29 winners / 24 unforced errors, broke her opponent 7 times and was only broken 4 times in 16 service games against an extremely aggressive returner.

Petra Kvitova reaches the final this week after a surprising victory over Maria Sharapova. This will be Petra’s second career final on WTA Finals, after winning the title in 2011 at Istanbul.

The round-robin stage was far from good for Kvitova with just one victory in her match against Lucie Safarova. As we mentioned in our semifinals preview, Petra only got her place in semifinals due to a straight sets victory from Safarova against Angelique Kerber in the last day of round-robin.

Despite not playing her best in the first matches, Petra kept improving match after match and got a very big win against Sharapova. The Czech was 1 – 5 down on second set but managed to win that set by 7 – 6.

Kvitova leads the h2h 6 – 2 against Radwanska however, the Polish won two of their three previous meetings on WTA Finals.

Agnieszka has been playing remarkable tennis with her counter punching skills being extremely effective on these courts. Kvitova will try to overplay Radwanska with her powerful groundstrokes but won’t be easy for her to perform at a consistent level against such a solid opponent.

It should be a very close final, Kvitova is the player with more weapons but Radwanska has outstanding on defense and won’t go down without a fight. For the last match on this tournament we’ll add to our tennis picks the value on Over tennis odds.
