WTA Quebed
The Coupe Banque Nationale takes place in Quebec and it will be played in Indoor Hard.

Main Contenders
Madison Keys is the top seed and by far the best ranked player on this event after receiving a Wild Card from the organization.  Lower level tournaments like this always try to attract higher ranked players with appearance fee, last year Venus Williams was the main name on this event and this year is Keys.

Madison played a solid US Open losing only to Serena Williams and has a very good draw to reach her second career title, however Keys is far from a consistent player and might not be fully motivated for this event.

Keys is for sure a contender for the title, she’s the top seed but due to her inconsistent and possible lack of motivation there is no value on her at 3.00 tennis odds.

Defending champion Mirjana Lucic is the second highest ranked player and returns to the tournament where she won her only WTA title. Mirjana made a terrific run last season ending with a victory in straight sets over the top seed Venus Williams.

Lucic super powerful tennis and ability to get the ball early are extremely effective on this fast game conditions, when she’s playing her best is very hard to stop her because she has firepower to overplay almost every players on tour.

The Croatian already showed this year that she can be a threat to everyone by defeating Simona Halep at French Open. This is a very special tournament for her and the fast court conditions suit her dangerous game which indicates some value on her at 8.00.

Mona Barthel has her best career results playing Indoor with 70.15% winning record and she did a good run in her previous appearance on this tournament reaching semi-finals in 2012. The German has plenty of talent and already showed that in the past winning Paris title in 2013 defeating in her way three top 16 players, however since then the best result on this conditions were semi-finals on Luxemburg last year.

Barthel won’t have an easy start against the young talented Jelena Ostapenko but if she’s able to overcome this hard test she has a great draw to go deep on this event so there is good value on her at 11.00 at Bet365 for the title.

Player to Keep an Eye On
Annika Beck loves to play in this fast conditions and last season she ended the year winning her first WTA title in Luxemburg that is played in Indoor Hard.

Beck is a great counter puncher with a remarkable ability to get the ball early and play a super solid and high pace tennis. The German hasn’t performed at her best in recent tournaments but she’ll be looking forward to play on her favorite game conditions and it will be very hard for anyone to beat her so there is clear value on her at 21.00 worth adding to our tennis picks.
