Friday's tennis betting card marks day 6 of the French Open, the Round of 32 (third round). A whole slew of attractive matchups are trading on the tennis odds board, so without too much fuss, here are our tennis picks for a few that stand out.

Lucie Safarova -275 vs. Sabine Lisicki +200
Lucie Safarova and Sabine Lisicki are set to kick off single's action on Court Philippe Chatrier on Friday as the third round gets underway. Safarova goes into this clash as the tennis betting favorite at -275 tennis odds, but Sabine Lisicki has the 3-1 edge, which includes winning their last two meetings. Underscoring Safarova's tennis odds though is a 1-0 edge over Lisicki on clay, as well as a solid season that stands at 16-10 and includes winning in Doha. Lisicki, by contrast, arrived to Paris with a 10-13 record and advanced into the third round when her second round opponent retired midway. To all intents and purposes, this matchup should be closer than the tennis odds would suggest. Both have a good shot to advance into the R16. We're backing Safarova at -275 on our tennis picks, but we won't be shocked if Lisicki capitalises and advances.

Tennis Picks: Safarova -275

Elena Vesnina +300 vs. Ekaterina Makarova -450
Ekaterina Makarova holds the 4-1 edge over compatriot Elena Vesnina, having won four on the trot. That said all four matches were on hard courts. Vesnina has the only win on clay between the pair, which makes her an attractive tennis pick for the upset in this clash. It's worth noting that Vesnina won the French Open doubles title in 2013 with Ekaterina Makarova. That said, it's hard to ignore Makarova's recent form against her friend and compatriot, which includes a convincing 6-4, 6-0 win at Indian Wells this year. Makarova has also made the semis of the last two majors. On paper, Makarova is the smart tennis pick, but Vesnina could provide the upset for tennis bettors. After all, she knows her friends game well enough by now and at one point one has to think she's going to be tired of losing to her.

Tennis Picks: Makarova -450 to win outright.

Check out Lee Phelps top tennis picks for the French Open 6th day

Garbine Muguruza +110 vs. Angelique Kerber -150
Garbine Muguruza strikes an attractive pose on the tennis odds board as the nominal +110 underdog against Angelique Kerber. The Spaniard is one of the dark horses of the tournament that is a potential Grand Slam champion in the making, according to most reputable tennis experts. Against Kerber, though, she'll face a stern test. The German leftie is enjoying solid form and has two titles to her credit already this season on clay. She also has the 3-0 edge over the Spaniard, including a three-set win earlier this season in Sydney. That said this is the first meeting between the pair on clay, a surface on which Muguruza has a win over Serena, amongst other. She beat Serena last year in the second round of the French Open. As far as underdogs go, therefore, she's a value tennis pick to consider on your wagering tickets.

Tennis Picks: Muguruza +110

Samantha Stosur +275 vs. Maria Sharapova -400
Can Samantha Stosur overcome a 2-14 head-to-head against Maria Sharapova and advance into the R16? The tennis odds would suggest it's not entirely out of the question. Given the head-to-head, one would have expected a much more lopsided tennis betting market. Then again, it's the women's game, which is more unpredictable than the men's game and head-to-heads can be rendered a moot point at a major event, when a player simply hits their stride. Then there is the fact that Stosur is a former French Open finalist. Last year, the pair met at the French Open in the R16. Sharapova won the encounter in a tough three-setter en route to her second French Open title. It also marked her fourth straight win over the Aussie, second straight on clay. Sharapova is one of the favorites to win in Paris; thereby, retain her French Open crown. One assumes, she's the better tennis pick to win outright. But Stosur should give her a run for her money.

Tennis Pick: Sharapova -400 to win outright; in three sets +275
