The action picks up now, with four matches per day now the standard. That should allow for more opportunities for us to pinpoint the best soccer betting value. What kind of soccer picks do we like most for Monday?

Netherlands vs. Chile
Both teams have already secured their spots in the knockout round, but seeding is still up for grabs and Netherlands and Chile will surely want to lock up the top spot in Group B.

Why's that? Well, the loser of this match (and therefore the runner-up in the group) will have to play the number one seed from Group A, which is likely to be Brazil. The winner would play the runner-up in Group B, which will either be Mexico or Croatia. A big difference there.

When we look over the soccer betting odds, we see practically nothing separating these sides. Netherlands is favored by a very small margin (+150), with Chile at +175 and a draw at +250.

Behind fantastic attacking play and the lethal combination of Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben, the Dutch have been as dangerous as they've been in quite some time throughout this tournament. They've already scored eight goals in two matches and now have their sights set on tormenting Chile's defense. Even with Van Persie on the bench due to a suspension, the Dutch should till find the back of the net.

The Chileans have looked equally impressive, though their tireless defensive performances have been the catalysts for their wins. They topped Australia 3-1 in their opener and then out-classed Spain 2-0 to secure their spot in the next round.

This is sure to be a highly entertaining match with a lot of quality soccer on show. We have to make a pick though and at the end of the day we like a total play. There will be no shortage of goalscorers (Robben, Vidal, Vargas, Sanchez) out on the pitch this evening, so don't be surprised to see another back-and-forth affair.

This has been an amazing World Cup with tons of goals scored already and we look for that to continue in this Group B clash. Back the OVER.

MLB Pick: OVER 2.5 goals (-118)

Cameroon vs. Brazil
Needing at least a draw to advance on to the knockout round, Brazil has a lot to play for in their final group stage match.

The Brazilians haven't looked as convincing as many expected. They beat Croatia 3-1 but were fortunate to get a couple crucial refereeing decisions go their way, and then they were held at bay by Mexico in a 0-0 draw this past Tuesday.

For tonight though, we'd be surprised if Brazil didn't win comfortably. The soccer betting odds suggest a one-sided match, with the hosts favored at as high as -800 at some sportsbooks. Cameroon is trading in a wide range starting at +2000 and going up to +2600, while a draw is there for the taking at +800.

Brazil will be matched up against a Cameroon outfit that's been one of the most disappointing competitors in the entire World Cup. They've still yet to score a goal, losing to Mexico 1-0 and then getting thumped 4-0 by Croatia last week.

Making matters worse, one of their most experienced players in Alex Song was shown a red card against the Croatians and will therefore not be available to play tonight.

This Cameroon team has been dealing with all kinds of problems, both on the pitch and off, so we're finding it difficult to see how they have any chance of really competing with Brazil here.

Backing the Brazilians to win straight up isn't going to offer much of a return at all though, so we have to be resourceful with our sports picks. Let's pick the host nation to win by at least two goals, which we don't expect to be much of a problem.

MLB Pick: Brazil -2 (-158)
