We've come up with two World Cup betting picks that appear to hold good value for Saturday, including a play in Argentina's second group stage match against Iran. Which way are we going with our soccer picks?

Argentina vs. Iran
It certainly wasn't easy, but Argentina did what they needed to do in a 2-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina last Sunday.

An own goal from Sead Kolasinac was the dream start the Argentinians were hoping for and they took advantage. Then, 20 minutes into the second half, Lionel Messi took over and scored a wonderful individual goal to push the lead to 2-0. Bosnia fought back and got a goal, but it wasn't enough.

The win puts Argentina in the driver's seat in Group F, especially with matches against easier competition in Iran and Nigeria coming up to close out the group.

Messi and company are favored by a large margin for today's game, with sportsbooks listing soccer betting odds in and around -700 to -750 on an Argentina win. Iran can be backed at +2000 at most of the sites we've checked, with a draw at +850 or so.

The Iranians held strong defensively against Nigeria to earn a 0-0 draw in their opening match. It was exactly the type of performance we expected to see and one Iran will hope to build off of against the favorites in the group.

We know Carlos Queiroz's team is going to be set up to battle hard defensively once again, but this time Iran has to deal with a lot more attacking talent on the other side. Argentina started in a 5-3-2 formation in the opener, with Messi and Sergio Aguero as the forwards, but there's a chance the tactics could change against a stubborn Iranian side that will be parking the bus.

In the end, we see no other reasonable result than a comfortable win for the Argentinians. They have the better team and the home support behind them in a major way, so we expect a convincing victory.

World Cup Pick: Argentina -2 (-114)

Nigeria vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina
Following the first Group F playday, it's Argentina on top with Nigeria and Iran tied for second and Bosnia-Herzegovina in last place.

The publicly available sports betting odds for tonight's match show the Bosnians favored at -105 or so, with Nigeria listed at +350 and a draw at just over the +250 mark.

Bosnia really did look good at times against Argentina, with their 4-2-3-1 formation posing problems. Edin Dzeko led the line and didn't get too many touches, but he should be much more active this time around against a far weaker Nigeria team and we think there's a great chance he'll find the back of the net here.

The Bosnians are technically sound and really know what they're doing out there, so the Nigerians are going to have to raise their level if they want even a point out of this fixture. They didn't look too threatening whatsoever against Iran and now the competition gets much tougher, so we'll have to see if they can rise to the challenge.

This Nigeria side also adopted a 4-2-3-1 last week, with Mikel and Onazi installed as the holding midfield and Moses, Musa, Azeez and Emenike making things happen further up the pitch. Odemwingie, Yobo and Ameobi made appearances off the bench in the draw.

And even though the Nigerians had plenty of possession, they couldn't find their way past a well-drilled Iranian defense. We expect more of the same against Bosnia.

Simply put, it's hard to ignore such a good price on the Bosnians in this spot. They're clearly the better all-around team and we reckon they'll pick up their first outright victory in Group F over a Nigeria outfit that hasn't been scaring anyone lately.

World Cup Pick: Bosnia-Herzegovina -105
