Three more World Cup matches are on the schedule and we've now seen all of the competing teams in action. Will that familiarity help us continue to beat the books with our soccer picks? Check out the two plays we like most for Wednesday.

Spain vs. Chile
Whereas Chile is coming off a 3-1 win over Australia, Spain will be trying to bounce back after a humiliating performance in a 5-1 loss to the Netherlands.

When these two teams meet up in Rio de Janeiro, the Spaniards will once again hold the soccer betting favorites tag, though they'll obviously try to perform at a higher level this time around. A win for Chile is priced at +500, with a draw right around +325.

As one of the biggest favorites in the entire tournament, watching Spain crash and burn against Robin Van Persie, Arjen Robben and company was a surprise to say the least. They lacked impetus in attack and made far too many mistakes defensively in the second half. Netherlands took full advantage.

The Chileans, meanwhile, looked quite comfortable in their win over Australia, getting early goals from Alexis Sanchez and Jorge Valdivia and then an insurance goal late from Jean Beausejour to seal the deal.

When comes to finalizing our sports picks for today though, we don't want to over-react too much to Spain's loss. Obviously the manner in which it happened was troubling, but this is still an extremely talented team we're talking about and one that's bounced back from bad defeats in the past.

It's reasonable to think the public will shift here and take a chance on the Chileans at this kind of price, but we're not losing total faith in the Spaniards just yet. We expect them to get back on track with a huge win.

Pick: Spain -1 (-105)

Cameroon vs. Croatia
Tonight the Croatians will hope to prove that they've forgotten all about an opening-day loss which was filled with questionable refereeing and perceived injustice.

Croatia took part in the tournament's first overall match and fell to hosts Brazil 3-1, though a controversial penalty call, converted by Neymar, in the second half shifted momentum considerably. Luka Modric and company couldn't recover.

With Mexico topping Cameroon (1-0) in the other Group A match and then earning a draw against Brazil yesterday, it's now a must-win situation for the Croatians here. They simply can't afford to drop the ball against the weakest team in the group.

As we mentioned, Cameroon fell short in their opening match against the Mexicans, failing to muster any kind of consistent pressure in attack. Will they fare any better against Croatia in their second match?

We don't believe so. We see value in backing Croatia here, as they really gave Brazil a run for their money and should do more of the same against a vastly inferior Cameroon outfit. Modric and Ivan Rakitic need to take over this match and we think they'll do just that.

With a victory of utmost importance for Croatia to stay alive in the group, look for the favorites to control the tempo and do enough to earn the three points.

Cameroon may be able to make things interesting, with Samuel Eto'o the most likely to grab a goal, but in the end we think Croatia's quality will be too much. In our book it's worth taking on the small amount of chalk in order to side with the favorites, who are simply the much more well-rounded team.

Pick: Croatia -133
