The Fever have had plenty of time this season to adjust to life without Clark, who is ruled out tonight with her third injury stint of the season after she reaggravated a groin injury on Tuesday night.

Indiana has played 404 minutes with Clark this season and 476 without her. The Fever have a +9.1 net rating with her on the court and a +4 mark with her on the bench.

Basically, Indiana isn’t better without Clark, despite what any hot takes you might hear on social media. But the Fever are still a competent team without her, particularly on the defensive end.

That context matters when assessing a spread that is nearly double digits. I’d take Indiana at +9 or better.
