Underscoring this extremely confident nod across <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbooks/" target="_blank" title="Sportsbook Review: Who can you trust with your money?">sportsbooks</a>, aside from his obvious top credentials, is a 5-1 head-to-head record over veteran Jarkko Nieminen. The one and only win the Nieminen ever clinched over Djokovic was in the Sydney semis six years ago.</p> <p>At 33 years of age, Nieminen is well past his heyday. He's still a workhorse and a player most won't take lightly. However, he needed to go the distance in the first round to take out former Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt. Meanwhile, Djokovic traipsed to the convincing 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber. As if Djokovic needed an additional edge over Nieminen. Fact is, the Fin probably doesn't have a lot left in the tank and against a player of Djokovic's ilk that's tantamount to disaster. Expect Djokovic to win this second round match quite convincingly. Hence, our top tennis pick is a 3-0 win by Djokovic at -550 in <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/tennis-betting-futures-directory/" target="_blank" title="Tennis betting directory">Wimbledon prop betting markets</a>.</p> <p><strong>Tennis Picks: </strong>Djokovic in straight sets at -550 at <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=2794&amp;book=in-article-bet365" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Act on bet365">bet365</a></p> <p>[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2862685, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,43,227,999996,93,238,123,139], "LineTypeId":5, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Stanislas Wawrinka -4000 vs. Victor Estrella Burgos +1600</strong><br /> <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/more-sports/men-s-singles-wimbledon-betting-day-1-tennis-picks/58909/" target="_blank" title="Revisit our tennis pick from Day 1 of Wimbledon">Stanislas Wawrinka muscled his way to a solid 6-2, 7-5, 7-6(3) win over Joao Sousa</a> in the first round of Wimbledon betting. . As a result, he enters his second round match as the firm -4000 favourite to win outright.</p> <p>It's his first meeting with Victor Estrella Burgos of the Dominican Republic, who ranks inside the top 50. Burgos overcame Benjamin Becker in the first round in four sets to earn his spot in the second round. At 34 years of age and 5' 8" tall, Burgos though is sure to be in over his head. Indeed, odds makers don't give him much of a shot at +1600 tennis odds. <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/more-sports/wimbledon-betting-odds-influenced-roland-garros-results/58911/" target="_blank" title="Wimbledon Betting Odds Influenced by Roland Garros’ Results">His career record at the Grand Slams ahead of Wimbledon was a subpar 2-5</a>. Before his win over Becker, he was 0-2 at the majors this season. Expecting Burgos to upset Wawrinka is a stretch, but he could potentially make a fist of it as he did against Berdych in a close, first round loss at the Gerry Weber Open (5-7, 3-6). Still, Wawrinka should take this in straight sets, prompting us to lean towards the 3-0 at -333 for our tennis picks.</p> <p><strong>Tennis Picks: </strong>Wawrinka in straight sets at -333</p> <p><iframe allowtransparency="true" border="0" frameborder="no" height="140px" id="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" name="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" scrolling="no" src="http://js.sbrfeeds.com/index.php/article?iframeid=iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426&amp;timezone=16&amp;theme=article&amp;line-type=spreadntotals.type=whole-game&amp;odds-type=US&amp;books=1096,19,43,227,999996,93,238,123,139&amp;trackers=1409845611531.xml&amp;event-id=2862702" style="width:642px;border:medium none;overflow:hidden"></iframe></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Marin Cilic -1600 vs. Ricardas Berankis +900</strong><br /> Marin Cilic is the hefty -1600 favourite in his second round match against Ricardas Bernakis, who ranks No. 90 in the world and hails from Lithuania. It's the first meeting between this pair and that lack of familiarity could work both ways. Cilic, who has the considerable ranking edge, is short on match play this season. He's just 10-9, which includes a 3-1 mark at the <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/more-sports/atp-2015-grand-slam-tennis-betting-schedule-picks-odds/54046/" target="_blank" title="How did our earliest predictions for 2015 Grand Slams hold up?">Grand Slams</a> in 2015, entirely down to a R16 exit at the French Open. On the strength of his credentials, Cilic is the smart tennis pick to win this encounter. However, he might not have it as straightforward as the tennis odds would suggest. Berankis, who stands 5'9" tall, will hug the court nicely and be able to pick up some of Cilic's flat shots. <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/tennis-betting/3112419-i-like-field-vs-fed-joker-wawrinka-murray-win-wimby-5dimes.html" target="_blank" title="One bettor shares his Wimbledon prop on Field +415 vs. Fave Four">Berankis has been given several established players a run for their money in tournaments this season</a>. He's taken sets off Robredo, Stakhovsky, Janowicz and Anderson and has a win over big-serving Gilles Muller and doubles Wimbledon champion Vasek Pospisil. He could make this a tougher match as a result than the odds makers would have it. As such, we're leaning towards  four set affair, possibly a five set affair. Cilic should win though. Hence our <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/more-sports/" target="_blank" title="Free tennis predictions ">tennis pick</a> recommendations are Cilic to win 3-1 or 3-2 at +275 or +800, respectively.</p> <p><strong>Tennis Picks:</strong> Cilic 3-1 at +275 or 3-2 at +800</p> <p><iframe allowtransparency="true" border="0" frameborder="no" height="140px" id="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" name="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" scrolling="no" src="http://js.sbrfeeds.com/index.php/article?iframeid=iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426&amp;timezone=16&amp;theme=article&amp;line-type=spreadntotals.type=whole-game&amp;odds-type=US&amp;books=1096,19,43,227,999996,93,238,123,139&amp;trackers=1409845611531.xml&amp;event-id=2862643" style="width:642px;border:medium none;overflow:hidden"></iframe></p>
