Can Djokovic and Wawrinka set up a semi-final showdown when they take to court on Wednesday in the Wimbledon quarterfinals? Find out as we preview Djokovic vs. Cilic, a repeat of last year's Wimbledon quarterfinals.

Novak Djokovic Hot Fave
To Win Quarterfinal match -1400
To win 3-0 at -250
To win 3-1 at +300
To win 3-2 at +850

Novak Djokovic survived a scare against Kevin Anderson in the R16. Down two sets he was forced to go the distance over two days (match stopped at 2-2) to win in five 6-7(6), 6-7 (6), 6-1, 6-4, 7-5. The Serbian really had to dig deep against the in-form Anderson to mark his passage into the quarterfinals. His championship pedigree coming to the forefront, cracking Anderson's concentration and serve in the fifth set for the lone break of serve that gave him the win.

Next up is a dangerous opponent Marin Cilic. Fortunately for Djokovic he has the convincing 12-0 head-to-head edge over the Croatian, which includes a win in the 2014 Wimbledon quarterfinals  6-1 3-6 6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-2. That Djokovic never lost to Cilic lends itself to his whopping -1400 tennis odds, but it's not going to be an easy match if last season's five-set marathon were any indication.

In fact, it could give Djokovic's camp some pause as they prepare for the quarterfinals on Wednesday. There's also the fact that Djokovic is coming off a five-setter that was quite taxing and very nearly lost.

Cilic Dangerous Floater
To Win Quarterfinal match +800
To win 3-0 at +2500
To win 3-1 at +2000
To win 3-2 at +2000

On the flipside of the coin, Cilic must fancy his chances against Djokovic despite the whopping tennis odds at +800. Granted they met earlier this season in Monaco and Cilic lost badly 6-0, 6-3. However, allowances have to be made for the fact that it was his second tournament of the season after coming off an injury and he wasn't quite at top form obviously.

Cilic hasn't had an easy time of it at Wimbledon dropping five sets in four rounds, twice going the distance against Berankis and Isner. That said, he's rounding into form at the perfect time and that counts when taking on the World No.1.

Last year, during Cilic's magical run to the US Open title, he had a much tougher draw with Anderson, Simon, Berdych, Federer and Nishikori (to name a few) en route to his maiden major title. Specifically, he'd never beaten Federer in five meetings and few tennis bettors held out much hope for him ahead of their sixth contest in the US Open semis. Yet, Cilic beat the tennis odds and snapped the negative trend in convincing fashion dumping the Swiss maestro in straight sets. He was simply on fire.

Tennis Betting Verdict: Novak Djokovic -1400 vs. Marin Cilic +800
That's exactly what he's going to have to do here, if he hopes to reach the semis at the expense of Djokovic. Whether he's back on top form remains to be seen, but this match will give us the best indication of where he truly is. The popular tennis pick is going to be a win by Djokovic undoubtedly. Those of such leaning should look at prop tennis picks such as Djokovic to win in straight sets  at -225, four sets at +300 or five sets at +850.

With all respect to Djokovic, we think Cilic will give him a run for his money in another four or five set marathon, if not pull off the upset entirely. It's a risky tennis pick, make no mistake. But it's the dreaded 13th career-clash, a number that holds a lot of superstitious significance for both players. Plus the tennis prop odds are just too tempting with Cilic trading at whopping +2000 tennis odds to pull off the feat in five sets.
